Hi! I'm Rafi, your local dog nanny. I have over 8 years of experience caring for dogs and spent more than a year working for a professional pet care company. I've worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I regularly care for English Mastiffs, Pit Bulls, and German Shepherds, so I'm comfortable handling large, strong breeds as well as dogs with different personalities and needs. What sets me apart is that your dog's well-being is always my top priority. I treat every dog as if they were my own, providing personalized care, attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. My goal is to give pet parents complete peace of mind, knowing their pup is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible care.

Rafi delivered such professional service, offering to pick up and drop off our pet even when we had not requested that service. She also created a safe and accommodating home for our dog, helping it become part of her pack so quickly. We were blown away by Rafi's innate ability to put animals at ease: our usually nervous pup approached her immediately and got into her car without assistance after only meeting her once.
We have 2 English Mastiffs, who Rafi has cared for on a weekly basis for about 2 years now. What started out as dog walking turned into doggy daycare and overnights while we're away. Rafi has loved our girls and treated them like her own. She is kind and patient. Highly recommend Rafi for any pet related needs!
Rafi is wonderful! She loves loves loves all animals! It is apparent when you see how she responds to your animal an how your animal responds to her. My dog adores her! She is responsible and easy to communicate with. She always responds to your texts promptly. I would recommend her to anyone with any type of dog.
We used Rafi for 2 years to cat-sit our two Siamese overnight in our home. It was great because, as you know, cats prefer their routine in their environment!! Never had to stress or worry about them with Rafi! She kept the house neat, followed instructions, and sent cute pics to us occasionally to ease the separation. Highly recommend her!
Rafi and her family are wonderful! Our labradoodle loved going to their house and always came home happy and exhausted from a fun day of playing. Rafi is responsible, a good-communicator and her love of dogs is evident in the care she provides. Would recommend!
Rafi tanaka is a very responsible dogsitter that always prioritizes the pups before anything & everyone. She treats all dogs as if they’re her own. I can’t think of anyone better to take care of dogs!

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time job, so my schedule is built around the dogs and families I work with. This allows me to be flexible and available for daycare, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings whenever possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for every dog as if they were my own. Your dog will receive plenty of love, attention, and close supervision, and I prioritize their safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing at all times. I understand that each pet has unique needs, so I carefully follow their established routine, preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel secure, happy, and at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain a calm, respectful environment and do not host any guests while I am staying there. I do not drink, smoke, or party; I focus fully on the pets’ care, safety, and consistency in their normal routine. In my own home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They are welcome on beds and couches, and we have a secure backyard for safe playtime, exercise, and potty breaks. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I treat every pet with the same level of care and attention I would want for my own.
Pets
A typical day
I love taking dogs on adventures like fire roads, park outings, and beach days. Many of the families I’ve worked with have enjoyed receiving photos of their pups at Ocean Beach, playing at Blackie’s Pasture, and exploring the scenic fire roads in Marin. At home, dogs are welcome on beds and couches so they can feel comfortable and relaxed. We also have a secure backyard where pups can safely sunbathe, play, and take care of potty breaks throughout the day.
