I am fully licensed by Central Bedfordshire Council - CB/LANW/ 25/007638, insured, and canine first aid trained. As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve spent over 20 years caring for a wide range of breeds, from Rottweilers and Jack Russell's to Staffies, Cockapoos, and Spaniels. This experience has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments, needs, and behaviors, allowing me to tailor care to each individual dog. I provide quality stays over quantity and operate strictly as a solo home boarder, caring for one dog at a time unless they are from the same household. This ensures calm, consistent, one-to-one attention without the stress of a busy, multi-dog environment. I follow a structured onboarding process to ensure safety and suitability for both your dog and my family: Meet and greet at my home to assess compatibility. One-night trial stay to observe overnight behavior. Approval for longer bookings once suitability is confirmed. All dogs must have valid pet insurance and an up-to-date vaccination certificate before boarding. I also have an 8-year-old at home, so dogs must be comfortable and well behaved around children. You can rest assured your pet will be welcomed into a safe, loving, and well-managed home environment.

Rae was so thorough with the onboarding process to make sure everything was clear before Rocco stayed with her. He obviously had a great time and Rae was awesome at giving us updates and sending photos to show us he had settled in well and was having a good time. So happy we found you, thank you so much.
Our doggies recently enjoyed a sleepover with Raeleen . We are so happy we found this lady to take care of our furry babies, communication was super easy, and I felt completely at ease leaving Teddy and Luna in their care. I got regular updates and adorable photos, and it was clear our dogs were happy, safe, and getting lots of love and attention.
My two scallywags spent the day with Raeleen and settled immediately and had a lovely relaxed day, leaving me free to drive down to Kew with hubby for a day out (can’t take dogs into Kew Gardens!) Raeleen has an amazing effect on my two reactive anxious sausage dogs, as they accepted being with her with no barking or anxious behaviour. This was my first time using a dog sitter and Raeleen took such good care of our dogs, from the moment we did the pre meet we knew they were in good hands. Raeleen sent updates throughout the day so I knew they had settled in and was extremely patient with my GR who wanted to collect all her cushions. An excellent dog sitter, thanks again Raeleen.

Dogs in my care enjoy long country walks—often twice a day if suited to their energy levels—or shorter, gentle strolls for those who prefer a slower pace. With access to beautiful open spaces nearby, they’ll have the opportunity to explore, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and enriching way. Throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, and interaction tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s relaxing with company, engaging in play, or following specific routines, I ensure that each pet feels happy, settled, and truly at home. Their well-being is my top priority, and I’m committed to providing a caring, consistent, and enjoyable experience while they’re in my care.

When caring for pets, I offer both in-home pet sitting and care within the pet owner's home, depending on your needs. If your pet stays at my home, rest assured that I have a secure, fenced-in garden for safe outdoor play, and we are surrounded by beautiful countryside—perfect for long, enjoyable walks. I currently have no pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention and care without the presence of other animals. For in-home services, I ensure that your pet is comfortable and follows their regular routine while you're away, providing feeding, walks, and companionship in the comfort of their familiar environment. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and loved, whether they're staying with me or I’m looking after them in your home.
A typical day
A typical day when caring for pets is always filled with fun and attention to the animals' needs. I start with an early morning walk, making sure the dogs get fresh air and exercise before the day heats up. For dogs, this might include long walks through the countryside, giving them time to explore, sniff, and burn off energy. If I'm pet-sitting at home, we'll play games in my fenced garden, where they can run freely and safely. Throughout the day, I keep them entertained with fun activities like fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys that stimulate their minds. For quieter moments, I'll give them plenty of affection, brushing their fur or simply sitting with them for a little cuddle time. If your pet has specific needs, such as following a medication schedule or a particular diet, I’ll make sure those are followed meticulously. I also ensure any routines they’re used to are maintained, giving them a sense of stability and comfort while they're in my care. By the afternoon, I take them on another walk, either solo or with other dogs, while always ensuring safe play and socializing. Whether it's a short potty break or a longer adventure walk, I aim to keep their tails wagging!
