While I have walked with dogs for 10 years total on and off of rover, I have 3 years of professional experience working at a dog boarding facility where I have learned to read dog body language, monitor safe play, and when and how to break up unsafe play quickly. I have worked with dogs consistently since then. I have had medium-large dogs for my whole life but I obsess over every sized dog from a 2 pound Yorkie to a 120 pound Dane. I work with my own dog every single day on his leash neutrality, tolerating nail trims, respectful play with his friends, and all of his fun tricks as well. I have learned the signs of bloat and how important it is to act quickly and signs of other every day illnesses so we can identify them and get your dog care. I have administered oral and topical meds and worked with dogs who refuse them as well.
