I am a qualified Dog Trainer and Canine Behaviour Practitioner with extensive hands on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes and temperaments. My experience ranges from family pets and pedigree breeds to rescue dogs with complex behavioural and medical needs. I have worked extensively with anxious, fearful, reactive, traumatised and neglected dogs, helping them build confidence, develop coping skills and successfully integrate into home environments. Through my work with rescue organisations, I have gained practical experience rehabilitating dogs recovering from abuse, abandonment and long term stress. I worked at Lanta Animal Welfare in Thailand, where I supported the rehabilitation and welfare of rescue dogs, including disabled and special needs dogs. My responsibilities included behaviour assessments, training, socialisation, enrichment, welfare monitoring, recovery support and assisting with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy programmes. I am confident handling dogs with mobility challenges, medical conditions and behavioural concerns, and I understand the importance of adapting care to each dog’s individual needs. I have personally adopted a disabled rescue dog, which has further deepened my understanding of canine rehabilitation and compassionate care.
