I’ve been caring for pets since I was very young, including dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals. I had my own cat starting at age 13, where I was responsible for daily feeding, litter care, playtime, and making sure he stayed healthy and happy. I also cared for my grandparents’ dogs and have helped friends by pet-sitting when they travel, giving me experience with pets of different personalities, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is my reliability, attention to detail, and the fact that I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible, consistent care and attention. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, whether playful, shy, or independent, and adjust my care so they feel comfortable and safe while their owner is away. I also prioritize communication, providing updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or pet area cleaning, and any medications if needed. I spend quality time with pets through play, companionship, and attention based on their personality and energy level. I also respect my client’s home by keeping the space clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. I make sure doors are locked, pets are safe, and everything is tidy before leaving. I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

I highly recommend Rachie as a pet caregiver. Rachie was raised in NYC, and she and her family live in our building. Since she was a little girl Rachie's babysitter would bring her own dog Princess to spend time with Rachie. Rachie would fully care for Princess and took pride in walking Princess all the time. As Rachie grew older, I would consistently see Rachie show affection towards dogs in the building. As she got older, Rachie would volunteer to walk the dogs of her elderly neighbors, especially in inclement weather. It was always clear she had a love of dogs.
Rachie has long been a pet and animal lover. She cared for a wide variety of animals when visiting and working with her grandparents at their ranch during summers growing up. She is especially fond of the dogs she helped raise from pups on the ranch, and the grown up dogs would look forward to her returns each summer as much as she would to seeing them. Her love of animals goes beyond her family pets. As a middle and high school student in New York, Rachelle participated in training with the ASPCA hospital to board dogs that were due to have extended stays for involved procedures. During visits back to New York, she also helped her oldest brother with dogs that he and his partner were boarding between rescue and finding a family. Rachelle has a profound love of animals, and any family would be lucky to have such a caring and attentive person attend to their dogs.
Rachelle has babysat my two year old cavapoo many times when i've been on vacation. I am a very particular dog parent and Rachelle has never once let me down. My dog loves her and is always very excited to see his auntie Rachelle and to go on walks and to parks with her! I always feel safe knowing that my dog is with her even almost as safe as when he's with me!

Schedule
I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent, attentive care for your pet. I’m available throughout the day for feedings, check-ins, playtime, and making sure your pet is comfortable and well cared for. My schedule allows me to be reliable and responsive while giving your pet the attention they deserve!
