Hi! I'm a dog-lover who currently lives a lifestyle not condusive for a dog. I use Rover as an outlet to love on other people's dogs, and fulfill this yearning I have for dog companionship. I let out my dog love on my Rover dogs. And cats! I'm a cat parent of a 15 year old kitty, and I've helped raise numerous foster cats. Needless to say, I'm crazy for cats😻 If you have a pet other than a cat or a dog, I'm fairly open-minded! It's always worth asking! Oh yeah, the other things you probably want to know... I have reliable transportation (and I don't mind if I get nose paintings on the inside of my windows). I have a natural tendency to leave places cleaner than I found them. It's not unusual for me to leave behind homemade meals, loaves of bread or cookies...if time allows. Kitchen crafts allow me to spend quality time at your home with your pet, and brightening others' lives brings me so much joy🥰

Rachelle is truly amazing! She is one of my main caregivers for my pup Sophie, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Rachelle is incredibly caring, loving, and attentive—Sophie absolutely adores her. She is always punctual and communicates exceptionally well. For our 1-hour walk, Rachelle kept me fully informed every step of the way: when she arrived, how the walk went, when she left, and she even sent multiple photos that completely put my mind at ease. It’s so clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. Knowing Sophie is in such kind, responsible, and loving hands gives me total peace of mind. Rachelle goes above and beyond every time, and I’m so grateful to have her as part of Sophie’s care team. Highly, highly recommend! 🐾💛
Rachelle was fantastic… it was very easy to communicate with her and she was sure to confirm everything in advance. She also took great notes which was very assuring that our pups would be looked after. Our pups loved her and we will definitely work with her again!

Rachelle took care of our rambunctious puppy while we were away. She was very respectful of our house, the instructions we left for the pup’s daily schedule, and went above and beyond giving us updates and pictures. She is a very trustworthy house/dog sitter. I've traveled quite a bit and have always felt some anxiety leaving my sweet boy, but Rachelle was so wonderful and amazing, that I felt completely confident that he was in the best care. Rachelle is thoughtful, conscientious, kind and responsible. She is very attentive and has careful attention to every detail. She shared her daily photos and fun adventures with me and it was clear that she had bonded with my boy. He was so happy and well cared for! Not only was the care she provided beyond expectations, but she left the house cleaner than when we left! She provided me with follow ups and a very thoughtful thank you note. Rachelle is one of a kind and a very special person with exceptional care giving skills! I appreciate her beyond measure.
This was Rachelle’s second time house sitting and taking care of my pups. Rachelle had detailed notes from her previous sitting making this sitting effortless and stress free for me. She kept me updated with the pups activities and sent multiple photos. One of my pups needs for different eye drops administered 3 times per day, and Rachelle is a pro. Always wonderful to have Rachelle take such loving care of my pups.

Schedule
I am a substitute teacher with a flexible schedule. I naturally wake up early (which dogs seem to love!). I love being outdoors and spending time with pets in my downtime!

Please let me know about any specific needs during the initial Meet & Greet - any behavioral issues, quirks, or particular training words to use. Don't worry about being too detailed! Until I get to know your pet, all your insight is helpful.

A typical day will look different depending on your pets' needs. I will do my best to maintain whatever schedule you have for your pet. I know animals love their routines. I do my best to give them a loving and enriching experience, and make the transition as natural and seemless as possible:)
