I currently work as an 8th grade special education teacher. I grew up with three cats and one dog. In high school and college, I had a cat and a Springer Spaniel who required lots of grooming. I learned how to give simple paw and fur trims. I also learned how to cut their nails, clean ears, and regularly bathed them. Throughout high school and college, I would pet sit my family’s pets and our family friends’. I would be responsible for feeding, grooming, bathing, walking and entertaining both cats and dogs of various breeds. Currently, I have a Siberian Husky and a kitten! They are the absolute sweetest pets and I hope you would agree! My fiancé and I love to care for pets and incorporate our fuzzy Rover guests into our daily lives. When we have fuzzy guests we make an extra effort to go to dog friendly places, parks and even mountains when we lived in NC. In the summertime, we love to fill our pool and have the dogs play in the water! We enjoy entertaining pets of all kinds and making them feel loved when their parents are away.

Rachelle was super easy to work with and took great care of our pup while we were out of town over Labor Day weekend. No issues whatsoever - she sent frequent photos/videos to give us ease and help miss him less, and was very easy and quick to communicate with. I would certainly recommend her!

Schedule
Since I work a full time job 8-4. I would be available to watch your fuzzy animal in the late afternoon/evenings. My fiancé works at home, so he is able to provide bathroom breaks and walks during the day. I am available to pet sit overnight on the weekends preferably Fridays-Sundays!

I usually let my pets out every 3-4 hours. I like to keep to a routine for feeding. I am use to washing my dog’s paws especially on days when it’s muddy. I have lots of experience giving dogs baths, brushing fur, cleaning teeth and ears. If you would like me to provide these services for your pets, I would request that you have the materials on hand!

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs out for walks places such as parks, woods, or fields. I know my dog enjoys tromping in rivers which requires a bath afterwards! If there are special games or activities your dog likes to do I would be interested in learning the games.
