Please take a moment to read my full profile before reaching out to make sure we’re the right fit. Thanks so much! A little about me. Since I was little, I have loved animals so much. I would bring home all sorts of critters. Stray animals ,especially cats, tended to gravitate to our house and my dad used to say they came because they knew I would fix them up. He would call me the “cat whisperer,” he wasn’t wrong. At 18, I earned my Veterinary Assistant Certification. I didn’t end up pursuing a veterinary career long term, but the knowledge I gained was valuable and I realized what I truly love is spending time with animals in ways that are joyful, hands on, and fun. That passion led me to fostering, which was such a rewarding chapter. I couldn’t have my own pets at the time, but I could help animals find their forever home and I loved being able to help. After moving to Colorado, I volunteered with National Mill Dog Rescue in Peyton which was very rewarding. At home, we have Trek my 4 year old Australian Shepherd and soul dog. He’s my adventure buddy and has a huge heart for other dogs. Intuitive and gentle, Trek is an ideal playmate, especially for pups who enjoy, chase, and classic Aussie style wrestling with lots of spinning and booty bumps. He’s a confident, intelligent and intuitive- medium energy companion who loves to play as much as he loves his naps. He definitely can’t play all day though and that’s okay as long as your dogs good at reading dog body language and knows when to let him chill when he’s ready to relax it will be a good fit. In our home, pets are allowed on the furniture but we do have a no pets on the beds policy. they are allowed to sleep in our room , and In our home they’ll be treated like family! I provide daily photo updates, the occasional video and messages because I know firsthand how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and having fun while you’re away. We also have dog friendly cats who roam inside and outside. As long as your dog is cat friendly, that won’t be a problem!

Schedule

I’m a stay at home mom with three kids, an Australian Shepherd, and two cats so your pet will have plenty of company here! my kids are active, playful, loud and chaotic at times. I totally understand that not all pets thrive in busy environments, and I want to be transparent about the energy level in our home from the start We spend lots of time outside and love playing in the backyard. For dogs who enjoy action, there’s tug-of-war and plenty of tennis balls to chase! Our dog, Trek, is a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd who loves other dogs. He’s medium energy level and enjoys a good play session but also likes his naps. he is very good with dog body language and isn’t pushy or submissive. I’d say he will do well with any dog that is fair, and has good dog manners. ****Puppy daycare includes structured play, routine potty breaks, crate training and positive reinforcement for good behaviors- exposure to kids and cats as well. Puppies are kept in an Exo pen during the day when unattended and if I need to leave I crate them. Until potty trained they’re not allowed to free roam unsupervised- and typically I can keep them in an area near me or where my kids are at. It’s worked very well in the past. I’m open to also helping with socializing them like taking them to Lowe’s or Big R which is an add on if that’s something the owner is interested in. Especially for doggy day car, As well as walks, or leash training.
