The Barbells Barkyard

Welcome To the Barbells Barkyard, where we have something for everyone! Whether your dog is crazy energetic or laid back and wants to snooooze, we are for you! we play often in the backyard but my 9 yr old also created a little oasis in his room for the dogs who prefer less space. we always make sure their comfort comes first! We have cared for animals our entire lives and have always known wanted to work with animals in some capacity so when we discovered rover, this became the perfect path for both my wife and i! We are both AVID animal lovers and treat each furbaby like family! we are both home full time and will seldomly leave them alone/if at all. We both know CPR and basic first aid for animals. A typical day will include lots of play time both inside and outside, enrichment activities (such as a ball pit, sniff spots, etc), water play time (if they feel so inclined :) ). we also provide treats- all 1 ingredient, healthy options so we do not upset their tummies, lots of bed options, allow them on the couches if you are okay with that, and all the toys they can dream of. we clean and sanitize the entire house daily and we ask for each client to be on flea meds to prevent any unwanted friends :) Our primary goal is to help the people of our community be able to have BOTH great loving top dollar care that you are confident in AND is affordable. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay.

It was my first time having to use a dog sitter. I was really worried for my dog, but they were so great with him. They communicated with me and kept me updated with pictures. They were so sweet when I met them. I will be going to them again.

Rachelle and her wife were awesome! They sent photos and kept us informed and asked questions if they needed clarification which is good. We knew our two dogs were in good hands and wouldn’t hesitate to board them again with them! They truly cared about our pets which is super important to us! Rachelle is even skilled at injecting our senior dog with IV fluids which was helpful. We appreciate them taking good care of our dogs!

Rachelle was one of the best Rovers ever! Her and her partner sent so many adorable text updates and photos, including so much playtime outside and water play in a mini pool! Thank you both SO much
