I have a very flexible schedule. Typically, I work as a nurse Mon/Wed/Fri from around 4-9 pm. Otherwise, I have tons of free time. I will prioritize your pets needs and spend as much time with them as possible.

A typical day
Depends on the pet! If they are playful and high-energy, I will keep them busy playing and going for long walks. I love to spend time at the dog park if they are able and friendly. I will gladly provide lots of pets, scratches, belly rubs and ear massages. I can be present for good company and ideally to cuddle(!) if that's their vibe :)

Hello! My name is Rachelle, and I really love dogs. I used to be a full-time dog walker and pet sitter before I became a Registered Nurse. Now that I am only working part-time (~5 hour shifts), I am excited to be able to offer pet care again. I have a wealth of experience with diverse breeds, special needs, all ages and temperaments. I grew up raising and training my family's dogs. I am comfortable giving any medications if needed. Above all, I will give your pup the most love, care and attention, because I genuinely enjoy it. If needed, I will even take care of your home as my own.

Rachelle is an INCREDIBLE dog sitter and we couldn't be happier we used her! We encountered an unfortunate and stressful situation where another Rover.Com sitter had cancelled our stay only a few days before we were set to leave for a week - Rachelle came to the rescue quickly answering my inquiry about watching Newman and offered to do so in our home. After speaking with two of her references and meeting her, we decided to have her stay with Newman in our apartment. Newman very quickly took to Rachelle, smothering her with kisses and trying to sit on her lap (he is 60 lbs - not a "lap dog"!). She took amazing care of Newman and we literally didn't worry once while we were away. She took him to the dog park or on hikes/long walks every day and took him on lots of fun adventures (out for ice cream, to Home Depot, to a friend's house). Newman is a very social pup and definitely had a great time with her. Our place was immaculate upon return and it is clear that Rachelle has a strong love for animals and is also very respectful of people's space. She sent us lots of pictures while we were gone and stayed in great touch with us. I would HIGHLY recommend using Rachelle to care for your animals!
Rachelle is a lovely young lady, very conscientious, and a pleasure to work with. She stayed in our home and took care of Sadie, our two cats and the garden impeccably. Also, because of an oversight on our part, she needed to run an errand for us while we were gone. She did this cheerfully, which was tremendously helpful to us. I would recommend her enthusiastically!
