We are Josh and Rachel, we are from New Zealand and have both grown up with animals. We are reliable, trustworthy and responsible pet carers and house-sitters. We pride ourselves on taking good care of the animals. Providing exceptional care and attention to your furry friends. As we are currently unable to have pets of our own, we love to give your pets lots of love and attention. We absolutely love getting to know pets and it brings us so much joy spending time with them. Rachel has worked at multiple veterinary clinics, assisting on surgeries, pre/post surgical care, grooming, etc. So she has knowledge and experience working with various breeds of animals and different temperaments. We both have experience administering medication and looking after animals while they recover from surgery. As it can be nerve wracking to be away from your animals, we are more than happy to send updates, photos and videos as often as needed. We have experience with all sorts of breeds, large and small. We have experience with anxious and reactive animals. We are physically fit so able to take your dogs on longer walks. With both of us, it means we can take care and provide attention to more animals. We are able to accommodate pets who require constant care. E.g. if we can’t leave them alone at all or for less than 2 hours, in this situation holiday rates will be applied to ensure we are fairly paid and it will require us to cancel other commitments. Safety, trust & environment
In caring for pets in your home we will ensure their daily routine is kept, we understand change can be hard on your pets. We provide the love and attention that they need, or give them space if required. We love to go outdoors but are also happy to relax around the house. We are very experienced pet sitters so can keep your home safe, collect mail and maintain plants/gardens as required.

Rachel and Josh are regular dog sitters for us and always take very good care of our nervous older terrier. We have just returned from holiday to a very comfortable and happy dog and a very tidy house. Thanks again both! Very much appreciated and highly recommended.

Rachel and Josh have looked after Cleo several times now, and we have already booked her next sitting with them. We always come home to a happy dog and clean home so would not hesitate to recommend. We are very grateful to have found trustworthy sitters who have clearly built a bond with Cleo, as she's not always the easiest dog being a big and slightly nervous girl!

Rachel and Josh were the perfect sitters for our nervous older dog. Trustworthy and friendly people who clearly lovely animals. They made time to meet Selia beforehand and reassure me that she was in good hands. Communication was perfect and we received lovely updates whilst we were away. Selia was clearly very comfortable in their company. They left the house very clean and tidy and went out of their way to make Selia feel settled amd confident in the house and on walks. Highly recommend and will hope to book again. Thanks !
Thought I'd add this here, as it's the best place for it! Thanks so much to both of you for looking after our animals and the house for the week. We are both very flexible with our schedules, so we have plenty of time available to care for your pets. We can cancel commitments if needed.
