Rachel was very good with my dog Peach. Peach is a shy girl and requires a lot of patience and effort to work through her insecurities. Rachel was more than happy to do a meet and greet before hand to help Peach have some sense of familiarity before I dropped her off the next day. I received lots of pictures and videos and had no doubt Peach was in great care. Would recommend and book with Rachel again!
Rachel was great to work with! She confirmed a last minute stay quickly and efficiently. By last minute, I mean I asked “…can I drop Bo off in an hour?” To my surprise she quickly responded and we were good to go. Rachel has great communication during booking and during the stay - no shortage of cute pictures 🥰 Bo was happy and entertained the whole time! He is a small Pom who was the biggest dog for the first time in his life 🤣 We will be booking with Rachel again in the future!
Rachel was not only accommodating, but she communicated with me the entire time I was away from my pup, making me feel secure and confident that she was having the best time while I was away - she sent lots of pictures, videos, and updates, and really made the entire process as easy as could be! Would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone needing a sitter :)

Schedule
I do Rover part-time and share my home with my own dogs. My housemate also helps with pet care when needed, especially if I’m called into work or our schedules need to be adjusted. There may be times when we need to step out for work or everyday errands, so I prefer dogs who are comfortable being left for up to 4–8 hours if needed, although we’re usually only out for a short time. If your dog cannot be left alone, please let me know before booking so we can do our best to accommodate their needs.

Safety, trust & environment
When no one is home, guest dogs are safely separated from my dogs using a dog gate. When we’re home, they’re welcome to roam freely and make themselves comfortable, including on the beds and couches. I don’t normally use crates unless your dog is crate-trained and you’d like me to continue their usual routine. I also have extra dog beds available, which are washed after every guest’s stay. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I’ll do my best to provide the same care and attention they’re used to receiving from you.

A typical day
We go on walks twice a day. morning and afternoon. and I can provide a midday walk if your pup needs one. I also have a backyard for regular pee breaks, especially helpful for male dogs. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, sleeping, and training so they can feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Their day will be based on what they’re used to at home. Whether that means walks, playtime, relaxing around the house, spending time with us, or simply lounging on the couch, I’m happy to adjust to their routine and energy level.

- Before booking, please let me know about your dog’s normal routine, including their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, sleeping habits, training, medications, and how they behave around other dogs. Please also let me know how long they’re normally comfortable being left alone. Please bring your dog’s food, treats, toys, and pee pads/diapers if needed. You’re also welcome to bring their bed or favorite blanket so they have something familiar from home. Since dogs are welcome on our furniture, please provide pet or baby wipes for cleaning up after walks and potty breaks. For new clients, I prefer to keep the first two bookings through Rover. This gives us time to get to know each other and make sure your dog is comfortable staying with us. After your dog’s stay, feedback is always appreciated. I welcome suggestions, and if you’re happy with the care your dog received, a Rover review would mean a lot.
