Pet Sitting in a Warm Family Home
We have a warm and a happy home with six kids and our own mini-Goldendoodle. We have a big home with lots of space and toys as well as a roomy outdoors. Pets are welcome to sleep on the bed with the kids and run around in the yard. We typically only accept one pup at a time so we can give each dog the care and attention it needs. We especially enjoy having repeat guests, so our ideal Rover client is someone who lives nearby and needs on and off pet-sitting. Dogs need to be friendly and safe with other dogs as well as babies/kids, since we have a range of ages here in our home. We prefer a meet and greet for new dogs at least one week in advance before your first stay. We DO NOT accept pit bulls or pit bull mixes. We DO NOT accept elderly or frail dogs.

The BEST !!
We had a family vacation for over a month and needed a place for our Labradoodle. Sunshine had a wonderful experience with Rachel and her family. She cared for Sunshine as if she was her own. She sent Pictures and Videos everyday which my kids enjoyed. We highly recommend Rachel for any and everyone who may have a need for their pup. Thanks again

Rachel and her family were wonderful with our dog, Lily. They were loving and attentive and Rachel was wonderful to work and communicate with. Will definitely have Lily over to their house again for another stay. Lily was well cared for!

Schedule
During the summer we are home throughout the day, and are able to provide dogs with early morning and late night walks (due to the Nevada heat), and lots of cuddles and playtime during the day. Our kids love to get in on the fun.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard, lock on the gate, and gate at the front door to prevent any pups from running away. We take safety very seriously.

A typical day
We like to play a lot of catch, fetch and tug, as well as petting and running around. Cuddles on the couch are good too.
