Hi! I'm Rachel, and I’m a dog walker and dog/cat sitter in central Berkhamsted. I’m very responsible, thoughtful, playful and loving with all animals and I've been called Miss Doolittle (the Dr Doolittle reference not as it sounds!). I've owned a very playful labradoodle and active bengal cats for many years, dogwalked and cared for two very active terriers, a collie, two large labrador and golden retrievers, a chihuahua, a nervous rescue cross breed and dogwalked a wide variety of breeds for a dog rescue centre for several years. I'm experienced with young to elderly, anxious, deaf dogs and cats, and administering medication if needed. If you’re looking for an occasional or regular dog walker, animal sitter or holiday sitter I’m looking for clients around Berkhamsted and the nearby areas right now while studying to make a big career change from office work. I offer solo care or take out small groups for walks along the canal, to the nearby parks and Ashridge, also offer more active dogwalking, balltime and playtime. I know the area very well around here after living here for over 10 years and being very 'outdoorsy'! :) All breeds and ages welcome ❤❤❤ Your pets will be well looked after! Rachel was great, very responsive and took the time to understand all the details about how to manage both our dogs. Unfortunately, our older lab Maia, had to be put down a couple of days before, so it was the first time Cal had been on his own without her or us. It wasn’t the easiest weekend, but Rachel handled it all very patiently. We would definitely recommend her and would book her again.
I highly recommend Rachel as a pet carer. She has a natural, gentle way with animals and treats every single one with love and kindness! I've two jack Russell Terier and they both adore Rachel. she loves animals you cant tell and they love her back. they often go for long walks with here. when i'm out all day she makes sure they've water and go for walks. there is not a person i will trust more with my dogs than her.

Schedule
I'm studying to be a health coach and make a career change while animal sitting and will balance this across the week. Mondays to Fridays are preferable for me but I can potentially offer Sundays as well. I'm especially interested in longer, holiday sits too.

I'll take the lead from what you tell me your pet enjoys and dislikes and is capable of. I love to see animals loving life, active and happy so they'll get lots of walking in nature where relevant, attention, bellyrubs, brushing, ball time, game playing as suits them
