Experienced dog owner and fosterer
I have extensive experience with dogs, especially rescues. While overseas I was the proud fur mum of two dogs I found in the streets, which led me into fostering. I have fostered over 10 dogs for a period of a week to nine months and have really enjoyed working with Rover for several years!

We left our dogs alone without us being there with Rachel for the first time and one of our dogs escaped. Completely not Rachel's fault at all I add! And she handled what was a very stressful situation very professionally and calmly as she and 2 of our neighbours tried to catch a difficult dog, she managed to get her home safe and sound, leaving us with a very tired dog and what I expect is a very tired and stressed dog sitter! Thank you Rachel and sorry for my difficult dog!
Rachel was very kind and it is clear she loves being with dogs and care for them. She provided us regular updates with photos or videos. Our dog looks happy and it is noticeable he had lots of play time with Rachel (he is more playful than before his stay).
Ozzy loves staying with Rachel, she came home so happy and well look after. Thanks as always ☺️
Rachel has been nothing but absolutely fantastic with our girl Prim. Quick responses, frequent updates, accommodating specific needs like blocking of the stairs … Prim has been so happy (and full of home-made treats) at the end of the each day sit. While it is scary to leave your young puppy with someone else, Rachel has made this step more manageable. We definitely recommend her as a dog sitter!
First time I have left Basil with anyone for overnight stays, oh my gosh! Rachel came and met Basil prior to the home stay, she’s most definitely a doggies best friend! Basil took to her straight off, and she immediately put me at ease! Basil had the best time with her, he’s a big dog and she very kindly gave him big walks and much loving! She sent us a wonderful stream of fun photos, which allowed us to relax into our wknd away! A big shout out for Rachel 👏👏👏👏
We cannot recommend Rachel enough! We were nervous about leaving Penny for our wedding and she was so well looked after and we got daily updates!! Penny loved it and we will defo use again!

Schedule
I WFH, with occasional trips to London so your dog wouldn't be left alone. I have an enclosed garden at the back and my wee one and I enjoy (or tolerate, weather depending) three walks a day.

I have a fenced back garden, a car for trips to the beach and a small and very friendly, female mixed breed rescue called Cutie.

A typical day
We are lucky enough to live near several parks and wooded areas. We also like to drive to the beach and for dogs that need off leash exercise, but need to work on their recall, we can drive to enclosed dog parks!
