Pet care experience

I’m a big time dog lover who spends her summers traveling for work, guiding bike tours and spends her winters missing having a dog to love on. I have a lot of experience caring for and playing with dogs of all ages and sizes. I love spending time with them outside as well as cuddled up on the couch. I am easily trainable and can learn your dogs language and training cues so that they feel seen and heard and you don’t have to worry about encountering bad habits on your return.

Rachel was absolutely the best Rover match to date! Her communication and reliability was exceptional and we hope our schedules align in the future! :-) Piper, Lake and Becket are already asking where their cuddle puddle friend went!

Rachel did an amazing job caring for our dog when we were out of town- I couldn't be more pleased! Bodhi can be challenging at times - a large, high-energy "adolescent" who is very sweet but also reactive with people and cars. It can be difficult to walk him and I also get nervous leaving him with just anyone. Rachel was referred to us by a friend and she's been a godsend! From the minute she walked in the door she made Bodhi feel comfortable- he bonded with her immediately. It made me feel better about leaving him in someone else's care for the first time. It's obvious Rachel loves animals and enjoys being around them. She's very responsible and responsive. She made me feel at ease during our trip knowing that Bodhi was being well-cared for. She touched base each day we were gone to let us know all was going well and Bodhi was happy. He enjoys hanging out with her. It's a huge relief knowing we have a great option for a dog sitter we trust. Gamechanger!! Will definitely be working with Rachel again.

Rachel is the biggest dog lover I know! She truly treats dogs as family. Whenever she comes to visit us, we’re all excited to see her, but nobody’s happier than our dogs. They get so excited and their tails wag so fast I think they may fall off! She gives lots of pets, tummy rubs, snuggles and walks. Leaving your pet in Rachel’s care is paw-sitively the best decision!!!
