Pet care experience
An animal lover through and through
Very much recommend a meet & greet session for us to get to know each other a little before any commitments! I’ve got 2 family dogs of my own whom I’ve missed incredibly since moving to London and I absolutely love meeting new dogs and playing with them which is why I thought I would give Rover a try and see if I can help out anyone whilst also making myself very happy! I have experience with reactive and large dogs as one of our dogs is quite reactive to other dogs so I have lots of experience handling and am comfortable. I have also been to countless training seminars to learn how to train so if needed, can do some basic training with your dog!

Rachel took care of Bella amazingly and gave regular updates and photos. Good Communication and Very understanding. I'll be leaving Bella with her again without a doubt. Thank you

Rachel was very friendly and Apollo definitely enjoyed being with her 😁🥹 lots of photos updates throughout the day!

Rachel is a caring and experienced dog owner of several years. As an animal lover myself, I can tell that Rachel takes the responsibility of pet ownership very seriously and she would be the first person I would call if I needed anyone to look after my dog!

Schedule
I usually work from home with flexible working conditions so I have plenty of time in the day and after work to go for walks! Once you drop your dog off, to help them settle in easily I would take them for a short walk immediately. Usually I would go for a few walks a day for toilet breaks as well as a long walk after work. For the rest of the day depending on how your dog is, if they’re full of energy, we will do some training and treat work to let some energy out and if they’re happy to take some rest, I’ll be right next to them working! I also usually go for runs, if your dog is up for it then we could go for runs together but if not then I will make sure to plan to run another day so I’ll always be staying with them!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a one bed flat in North West London and there’s plenty of greenery and a reservoir 5 mins walk away from me. I often go running and bump into lots of dogs so there’s lots of opportunity to meeti other dogs ans socialise, however if your dog doesn’t like other dogs, there is a football pitch and a huge park not far from me where there is a lot of space for your dog away from others! We also have a balcony where they can sunbathe or people watch but this wouldn’t be safe for a small dog or cats as the fencing has relatively big gaps. If I take on your dog for doggy day care, I’ll make sure to be there with your dog the whole time until the agreed pick up time.
A typical day
Different pets have different things that stimulate them! However for dogs, I think it’s important to stimulate them mentally and physically! So walks are a must but playing and training them are also mentally stimulating for them!
