My husband and I use our bonus room as our boarding room where we can care for pets in our home. It's a relatively large bedroom with carpet and a couch. This room is the dedicated pet room. We have blankets and toys for your animals, however we always encourage clients to bring toys, blankets that anything else that may smell like home and that your animal is familiar with to help with the transition. We also have a huge yard and would love to go on long walks with your dog. Whether in your home or ours, we always respect and reinforce whatever rules and training you have in place for your animals, whether it's no jumping on the furniture or anything else.

Fun activities vary depending on animal and level of energy. For dogs, you can expect lots of long walks, playing fetch in the yard, good scratches and cuddles. We’re also happy to take your dog to the park or on a hike if you’d like them to get longer outdoor activity. We also ensure to ask first as we never want to bring your animal somewhere where you’re not comfortable with. We also ensure to keep dogs leashed and careful watch our surroundings for safety from other animals. For cats, you can expect lots of playtime with toys, cuddles and pets. We have fun cat tunnels, toys that crinkle and make noises. We also adapt to whatever your pet needs or prefers depending on their age and abilities.

Thank you so much for your interest in trusting us with your animals. We know that our animals are not just our pets, they are valued members of our family. We’d be thrilled and honored to meet you and your animal(s) to see if we are a good fit. I, Rachel have been blessed to love so many wonderful animals that I've got to call family in my life including dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters. My husband, Triston and I are failed foster parents and currently have 4 cats, two of which who we raised as feral kittens from birth. Our love for animals is why we've decided to offer pet care on Rover. After watching several friends and neighbors pets, we thought it was time to make an official account. I'm trustworthy, reliable and responsible. My clients value that I'm very attentive, responsive and always ensure to communicate clearly. My husband may join me in sitting or dog walking. He trained as a Veterinary Technician before landing as a Wildlife Biologist. He also volunteered with the SPCA for over 5 years. He has more specialized knowledge and experience giving injections, medication or love to animals who require special attention. We would love to care for your fluffy family members and ensure that they are well loved and taken care of whether it's a walk, drop in or boarding at our home. We are well versed in the needs of animals ranging from younger pets with high energy to aging pets with medical conditions. Sometimes my two year old daughter will join me, however I will always ask permission first. She is very sweet, gentle and kind to animals. She shares a love for animals just like her parents. Her favorite thing is to give hugs and gentle pets to animals who like attention. *To secure a reservation, an upfront payment is necessary. This policy ensures that your spot is reserved and guaranteed. Rover will hold onto the payment until 3-4 days after the booking is complete before sending to me. In the event that immediate payment is not feasible, it's important to be aware that the reservation may be subject to availability. Additionally, a 24 hour cancellation policy applies to all services with the exception of dog-walking and drop-in visits.

Rachel and Triston were amazing. They took excellent care of our fur babies and even went above and beyond by bringing in the mail and feeding the wild birds! Also, The house was immaculate when we returned. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future!
This was our first time having Rachel & Triston dog sit. We were very impressed with their professional approach to booking. After our in person, meet and greet, I felt completely comfortable leaving our baby with them for the day. Our dog seemed happy upon our return. Would rebook with them!
We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to watch our dogs and home while we were away for three weeks. Communication was great from start to finish, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. One of our dogs was in recovery from a leg surgery, and they gave her the extra care and attention she needed to recover comfortably. They also looked after our home beautifully—watering the plants, keeping everything tidy, and making sure our dogs received lots of love and attention. When we got back, the house was exactly as we left it. 10/10—would absolutely recommend and trust them again in a heartbeat.
