I grew up with dogs, have cared for family dogs both young and old. I pet sat for friends and a couple clients in high school (mainly taking dogs for periodic walks, feeding them, playing with them). Was a house-sitter/dog-sitter for a winter break in college for a family friend, and now I work from home and miss caring for an animal! Occasionally will watch my parents' dog if they go out of town, but would love to start a more regular pet-sitting schedule.

My apartment complex does have a dog park that I can bring your dog to, or I am happy to take your dog anywhere they enjoy going. Love to go for long walks to get them tired out! Have also taken many dogs on golf cart rides (residential streets only). I am happy to accommodate any needs of your pets or home, including brushings, walks, play time, going to a park, feeding/water/medicines, taking in the mail, watering the yard/plants, etc.

Rachel was a great sitter and stayed at our home for 4 days over new years. Our dog is anxious during fireworks but she went above and beyond to keep him comfortable when he was feeling anxious. Her communication was excellent with frequent updates and photos, and she left our home spotless. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!

We had such a great experience! Rachel stayed at our home over the long weekend and took wonderful care of our dogs and the house. Communication was easy, we got updates and pictures, and it was clear our pups were happy and loved while we were away. We came home to a tidy house and very content dogs—couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Rachel dogsitting at my house! She was attentive and met my dog before the weekend to make both me and my dog comfortable. She sent plenty of pictures, went on walks, and played in the backyard. I will definitely book Rachel again in the future!

Rachel watched our spunky 1.5 yo golden retriever while we were on an extended vacation recently. Her many photo updates made us smile. It was so nice to see our Luna girl happy and comfy with Rachel and all the outdoor & snuggle time they spent together. Rachel was an amazing communicator, left the house in great condition (mentioning she’d take out the trash and run the dishwasher) and even dropped a time-sensitive package for me at UPS that I couldn’t get to do before the trip. She truly went above and beyond. You can certainly trust her with any of your pets & your home. Thanks, Rachel! We can’t wait to have you stay with Luna again soon.

Schedule
I work a 9-5 from home, so would mainly be available in the afternoons/evenings Monday-Friday, or early mornings. I am also available anytime on the weekends.
