Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I'm relocating to Tallahassee at the end of July and will be job hunting, which means I'll have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or just giving them extra attention and companionship, I'll make sure they receive the care they deserve. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I love providing owners with peace of mind while they're away.

I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own. I do my best to stick to your pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. That includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and, of course, plenty of love and attention. I'll also keep your home tidy, clean up after your pet, and send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing they're happy and well cared for. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet!

I love getting to know each pet's unique personality! Before your booking, please let me know anything that will help me give your pet the best care possible. This includes their feeding schedule, potty routine, medications, favorite activities, energy level, any commands they know, and any behaviors or anxieties I should be aware of. I'd also love to know what they enjoy most—whether it's long walks, playing fetch, belly rubs, or just relaxing on the couch. The more I know, the more I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away!
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor our time together to what they enjoy most! We can go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, explore the backyard, play with their favorite toys, practice basic commands, or enjoy plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. If your pet is more laid-back, I'm just as happy to keep them company with lots of love and attention.

Hi there! My name is Rachel & my fiancé and I are relocating to Tallahassee at the end of July! I am currently in the process of studying for my Florida Teaching Certification. I am a Pre-K teacher at the moment. My love for teaching young children and education is something I pride myself on. I am looking for summer work while I have time off from school! For the entirety of my life, I have been around dogs. My family has had two miniature pinschers and a Jack Russel. I have dog sat for families with Golden Doodles, Australian Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Daschaunds - the list goes on! I am open to staying the night to watch dogs while their owners are away, coming to walk dogs during the day or even just keeping them company when need be. I would love to learn more about how I can provide help with watching your dogs in the future.

Rachel watched Snorkels for us while we were away, and she stepped in last minute without hesitation. She was absolutely amazing! We really appreciated all the proof-of-life pictures and updates she sent. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. Snorkels was clearly well cared for and happy the whole time. Rachel was fabulous, and we would definitely hire her again!
