Safety, trust & environment
I have travelled to clients homes to care for animals. At this time I rent, so having animals there is much more of a process with obtaining approvals and such but is possible if needed. I am at my clients home for the duration they need my services. I can provide photos or videos of your pets if that is needed while you’re away to bring some comfort! I understand the trust you put into someone coming into your home and caring for your pets and will do whatever makes you feel most at ease. I can schedule times to do meet and greets with animals so they can get to know me prior to any decisions to stay with them as well as meet with you and make sure you are comfortable as well.
Information Rachel S. would like to know about your pet
I am officially certified through American Red Cross in Cat & Dog first aid and will happily send over that certification for you to view! Please let me know ahead of time if any special needs or dietary restrictions your pet has. My dog growing up is now on a very strict diet of fish, fruits and veggies all fresh so I completely understand if there are restrictions. If your dog requires medication (orally) I have no issue administering however if it’s an injection, I’d love to discuss first before booking! I have minimal experience with this and am not certified but will do so if you are comfortable. I am however experienced in administering insulin to cats. I do have experience administering chemo pills to one dog as well.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for car rides. I’ve gone to get coffee down the road and put the dog in the car with me. I’ve taken one very active dog hiking on the weekend and for road trips in the mountains just for fun! If the weather permits I have no problem going outside or to the local dog park for some physical activity. If you have a fenced in backyard, outdoor fun can happen throughout the day!

Playful trusted pet pal! 🐾
Pet care experience
I’ve been dog sitting since 2018 when I was in college. I’ve grown this business by word of mouth from clients I work with! I have grown up around dogs my entire life and enjoy forming bonds with the ones I care for. I work remotely at a full time job which offers me flexibility during the week with all services needed! I’ve recently researched certifications I can obtain but am in the beginning stages of this. Please reach out with questions, I’d love to chat and help ease your mind if you choose to go with me a caregiver for your fur (or furled) baby/babies!

Rachel took great care of my little pup. She pays great attention to the needs of your dog 🐾

Rachel is very reliable and was able to help me out last minute. She is very communicative!
RACHEL was the best pet sitter we ever had. Caring and compassionate, she expertly handled Barney and Bree with exceptional care. We would highly recommend her to anyone. Rachel is the best. Thank you!!!!

Rachel is amazing and takes such good care of Paisley! I had a lot of anxiety in letting someone into my home to care for her, but Rachel has put all of that worry to rest. She is great at communicating, flexible, and patient. 10/10 recommend!
