I work from home with really flexible hours and commitments, and my partner Jason owns his own business so is home at various times during the week, so there will be someone with your dog at all times, they can join me in my office or snuggle on the sofa with me whilst I work, but I have lots of time during the day for play and attention! Both Jason and I will dedicate plenty of time and attention to your dog whilst they are with us. For the most part, your dog will be with me and Trixie, but Jason will also be around to play, give belly rubs and join us on walks when he is not working, and in the evenings and on weekends.

We know the importance of a home from home environment for your dog(s) as we ourselves always choose this option when we go away and need to leave Trixie! We ourselves feel so reassured knowing she is being looked after in a comfortable and safe environment and that is what we will offer to your dog. During their stay (whether for daycare or longer) they will be treated as if our own, spoilt with cuddles, play, walks and rest - what ever they need! We live in a house with a fully enclosed garden, we accept both crated and uncrated dogs and dogs will have free roam of the whole house just as our dog does! We will only let your dog off lead if you are comfortable, and we have access to several fully enclosed dog fields that we can use for off-lead play out of the house if you would like us to let your dog have a good off-lead run around! We will meet with you prior to any first stay to discuss your dogs needs, introduce them to Trixie and make sure both you, your dog and we and Trixie are a good match! We are happy to accommodate feeding and walk schedules and your dog will be included in all activities we do with our own dog We will provide updates and photos of your dog throughout their time with us (as often or as little ad you like)! We are happy to answer any questions, so please don’t hesitate to reach out !

Please let us know all the important things we need to know about your dog - any special requirements, needs or behaviours we need to be aware of - you can use this form to complete the details prior to any stay with us : https://forms.gle/4zAVturyjpyVthzq6 We like to do a meet and greet with all owners and dogs prior to any first stay, this helps us get to know each other, learn about your dog and what you need for their stay, as well as introduce them to Trixie. It also gives you a chance to see where they will be staying and ask any questions you may have. For longer boarding stays, we are also happy to offer a trial session, where your dog can come and visit for a few hours or overnight at a reduced rate to see how they get on - let us know if you would like to explore this option. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message us through the app! we look forward to meeting you and your doggo(s)

During a typical day we go for a long morning walk / play in the local areas for at least an hour - we go to local country parks, woods, recreation areas and also to some local fully enclosed dog walking fields! Whilst at home, dogs have access to the fully enclosed, fenced garden, and toys and games. We play scent games, practice tricks, play with doggy bubbles and enjoy zoomies! Dogs are also encouraged to rest and relax indoors and outdoors, which can include snuggles on the sofa or time in their own dedicated space for some downtime - whatever they need! We also go for an evening walk with our dog Trixie so she is nice and tired for bedtime! We can adapt walking schedules depending on the needs of your dog!

Nice to meet you, we are Rachel & Jason. We are both experienced dog owners having had dogs our whole lives, including our current fur baby Trixie the Golden Retriever! We have owned Labradors, Retrievers, Weimaraner's and Beagles and look after family dogs of all shapes and sizes! We live in a village with plenty of open space and dog walking options in the surrounding areas which we use daily with our own dog! We are well used to big bouncy dogs who get the zoomies as well as those with littler legs! We are insured through Protectivity Pet Business insurance

Rory has been with Rachel once again. He really enjoys his stay with Rachel and Trixie. Long walks, visits to dog play areas are right up his street. Rachel and her partner Jason looked after our dog Chester for 3 nights, Rachel met us with her dog Trixie before Chester stayed, was flexible when doing this and allowed us to visit the home too. When Chester stayed Rachel provided lots of updates and photos which gave us peace of mind. Chester looked very happy on all of the photos and came home sleepy, relaxed and content… all signs of a great holiday! We always like to have a home from home for Chester and Rachel certainly provided this! Thank you ☺️ we would certainly rebook in the future!
