I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and sizes for friends, family and neighbors since I was old enough to do it. I feel very comfortable around both dogs and cats and will provide the most love while their caregivers are away!

I prefer to care for the pet in their own home environment that they are used to, but I have had dogs stay with me in my dog friendly apartment in lakeview, which has nice areas for walking and is a short distance from the lake. The owners can send any items they want in order to accommodate the pet’s routine and needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Rachel! She house sat and watched my cat and dog for two weeks while I was out of the country. Being abroad can make you worry, but Rachel kept me completely at ease with her excellent communication. She sent regular photo updates and notes that showed how much she genuinely cared for my pets. Both my dog and cat absolutely loved her. She is responsible, deeply caring, and a total professional. I will definitely be hiring her again!

I’ve had my golden doodle looked after by Rachel multiple times now, and I can honestly say she’s the best dog sitter I’ve ever worked with. She’s dependable, great with communication, and has a natural way with dogs that you just don’t see every day. My dog gets excited every time he sees her, which tells me everything I need to know. She keeps me updated with pictures and messages, and I never have to worry when he’s with her. I always come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog. I trust Rachel with my dog fully.
I can’t recommend Rachel enough! She is truly an amazing dog sitter, my golden retriever absolutely adores her and loves when she walks through the door. She’s incredibly loving with him and gives him all of her attention. Every time she watches him, I know he’s getting all the playtime, cuddles, and care he could possibly want. She sends thoughtful updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind while I’m away. If you’re looking for someone responsible, caring, and genuinely great with dogs, Rachel is the best!
Rachel has been amazing with my dog Nym! Nym is typically shy and uneasy around new people but she took to Rachel right away. She is a pro at walking her, which is amazing because Nym is a puller. Nym loves when Rachel comes over because she knows she is going to get fun play time and lots of snuggles! Rachel is reliable and communicative... She is one of the select few people I trust to watch my fur baby!

Schedule
I have a full time job, but have the ability to work from home a couple days a week so that frees up time for afternoon walks. My evenings are free and I am almost always available on the weekends and am willing to stay at the home if needed.
