Just a Paw-some pet-sitter!
Hi everyone, My name is Rachel and I am a huge animal lover who is passionate about providing the best care and companionship for our furry friends. I have been pet sitting for close to 7 years now, through Wag and also with Rover. Experience in administering medicine for both cats and dogs. I grew up with animals, as I had taken care of my own dog-Misia, a coackapoo, for 10 years and my mother with her Havanese dog, Tomo, of 4 years (and on-going!) I lead an active lifestyle and take dogs out for a long walk or find fun ways to play with cats too. I want to make sure I can provide a tailored approach to make sure your pets' needs are met as a photo enthusiast, happy to take pictures and provide an update throughout a boarding and/or a sitting especially. Coming up close to 7 years of being a pet sitter for Wag, Rover and individual clients, I would be honored to be your reliable pet sitter!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
First and foremost what's important is that I understand the client's needs and their instructions on how to take care of their pets. Once you book my service, I would be more than happy to do an in-person meet and greet or a video call. If there are any further instructions (beyond what is listed on the Rover app), then I am happy to provide my personal email address if you would like to e-mail the instructions. These are the steps I take to ensure I can take care of the clients' pets in a safe and trusting environment.
Ratings and reviews
Rachel did an amazing job watching my two elderly dogs, feisty cat, and several fish. Her communication was excellent and I had a great vacation knowing she was watching my pets and home.
Rachel was perfect -- she did everything I asked and gave my cat a lot of love and cuddles as well! It's a relief not to have to worry about anything.
