Hiring a dog walker is an investment in your dog's well-being and peace of mind, so continuity & reliability matter. That why professional Dog Walking & Pet Care is my full time job, and not just something I do ‘on the side’. I’m available for walks or drop in care, seven days a week. I’ll vary the routes on your dog’s walks so that they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and serotonin! I can also care for guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters & rats.

Safety, trust & environment

Happy to make multiple daily visits to care for your dog in your own home, or to house-sit your pet if that’s what you prefer. My own dog was not suited to kennels when we went away, and wasn’t himself when he’d get home (he’d sulk for days). I can’t overstate the benefits of pets being able to stay in a familiar environment, meaning you can relax and know they’re more likely to be happy, even if they’re missing you.

Information Rachel S. would like to know about your pet

Their play and exercise preferences, toilet habits, health issues (including allergies) fitness levels, and injuries or medications, whether there are any fear-aggression or guarding behaviours to take account of etc.

A typical day

I will shape your dogs care plan with you, and according to their needs; whether it’s lap-time for seniors, playing with toys, sniff-walks to stimulate their brains or long walks to burn off energy! If it’s too hot or humid for them to walk safely I will either provide enrichment and stimulation in your home & garden, or (if it’s cool enough) take your dog to shaded woods for a sniff-walk. I’ll always act in the animals best interests and never walk if it’s unsafe to do so. Can give small pets free time in my fully fenced and secured garden or home as appropriate.

Met Rachel for the first time at short notice and knew there was going to be no issues straight away as had a great conversation when she did a visit to meet us both. All comm's were great including report, photos and vids. Will definately be returning in the future as both dog and I were very happy. Thank you.

Rachael walked our two dogs whilst we attended a funeral. She took time to come and meet them before the day of the walk. The both had a great long walk and she even took the time to wipe there feet before leaving them when they got back as it had been a bit wet and muddy. I would highly recommend and would no hesitate to book her again.

It was great to meet Rachel before she started. It really put us at ease. She's lovely. We've arranged for her to come in twice a week to walk Myrto, although we aren't sure Myrto will go, but the offer will always be there 🤣 The first week was great, Rachel sat with her on the first day, a 'get to know you' session and on the second day attempted a walk, but Myrto voted with her feet, straight out of the harness and back to bed 🤣 Rachel said she'll persevere but we are just so happy to have someone we trust popping in and spending time with our stubborn, loveable little madam. Thank you Rachel 🥰
