I work for a bakery, so I'm up early! Despite my early wake-up call, on the days I do work, I can still guarantee your pet's morning needs are met, and if I have a concern about doing so, I will communicate clearly with you before we finalize a booking. On the days I don't work, I am able to be even more flexible with visits.

It's important to me that your animals feel as safe as possible with me, so please feel free to leave any notes about the best care for your babes. I know that your pets will miss you while you're gone, so my goal is to keep their routine as close to normal as I can to ensure their comfort and happiness. There are also, of course, safety standards I always aim to meet with all pets, no matter what (no off-leash play in unenclosed areas, no human food, indoor cats don't go outside, etc), but the more information you can share with me about what your version of safe looks like - either in writing or during our Meet & Greet - the better! This also of course extends to caring for your home.

Additionally, if your pets have a favorite toy/pet spot/something that makes them extra comfy, please let me know! Please also tell me how often you'd like pet updates - I'm happy to send updates with photos as often as you'd like.

I'm a big hiker, so if your dog likes to hike and it would be safe for them to do so, I would happily take them with me! I can bring them to the p-a-r-k, beach, your yard, whatever they love. My goal is to make them have so much fun while their person is out of town that they don't have time or energy to miss you too much!

I grew up in a house that always had at least two dogs, and have lived with dogs and cats on and off since I was 17. I have experience with older animals, puppies, and kittens, and feel comfortable being entrusted to give medications as needed. I'm comfortable staying at your home or just dropping in, whatever suits you and your pet best!

I highly recommend Rachel as a dogsitter. Knowing she was taking care of our sweet girl while we were on vacation for 10 days gave us peace of mind and made it possible for us to be away and not be stressed! She sent adorable photos and updates, and took such good care of her.
Rachel was an excellent sitter for our two cats! She dropped in once a day and was even able to find our very shy Kitty! Would recommend her services.
Rachel is so sweet and easy to work and communicate with! She sent me pics of my dogs each time she came to check on them. I will definitely book with her again.
Since my cats only eat wet food, it’s hard for me to go out for a long time. But thanks to Rachel’s drop-in visits, I’ve been able to make sure they get at least one meal of wet food a day even when I’m away for a while. The cats seemed to warm up to her right away. I plan to ask Rachel to help out again the next time I take a long vacation.
