I grew up in a house that always had at least two dogs, and have lived with dogs and cats on and off since I was 17. I have experience with older animals, puppies, and kittens, and feel comfortable being entrusted to give medications as needed. I'm comfortable staying at your home or just dropping in, whatever suits you and your pet best!

Safety, trust & environment
It's important to me that your animals feel as safe as possible with me, so please feel free to leave any notes about the best care for your babes. I know that your pets will miss you while you're gone, so my goal is to keep their routine as close to normal as I can to ensure their comfort and happiness. There are also, of course, safety standards I always aim to meet with all pets, no matter what (no off-leash play in unenclosed areas, no human food, indoor cats don't go outside, etc), but the more information you can share with me about what your version of safe looks like - either in writing or during our Meet & Greet - the better! This also of course extends to caring for your home.

We had a great experience with Rachel! She was very responsive and considerate, giving us timely, thoughtful updates about how our cat was doing during her regular check-ins while we were away. She seemed to really care about our cat and wasn’t just there to quickly check in and leave. Knowing our cat was in good hands gave us peace of mind and we would definitely recommend Rachel!
Very friendly and trustworthy sitter
Rachel is incredible! We had to leave town last minute and are so thankful she could step in, even fitting in a meet and greet before we left. She was great with communication and made an extra effort to help our cats feel comfortable, which put my mind at ease. We definitely recommend Rachel to others.

We've booked with Rachel repeatedly and she is always amazing with our cats and accommodating to work with. She's great at communicating and takes adorable check-in photos that help when we're anxious and missing the babies. We have some unique little guys with a specific feeding routine and it's such a comfort to have someone we can trust checking in on them!

Schedule
I work for a bakery, so I'm up early! Despite my early wake-up call, on the days I do work, I can still guarantee your pet's morning needs are met, and if I have a concern about doing so, I will communicate clearly with you before we finalize a booking. On the days I don't work, I am able to be even more flexible with visits.

- Please let me know if there is anything I will need to know to ensure your pet is safe around me, other animals and people on walks, or from your other pets. Please also tell me how often you'd like pet updates - I'm happy to send updates with photos as often as you'd like.
