I’ve always believed that dogs are truly part of the family, and I take great pride in caring for them as such. I’m the devoted pet parent of Ana, a rescue Lab/Border Collie/Chow mix, and Stark, a Caucasian Ovcharka. I’m also “auntie” to my sister’s two pups—Meeko, an Australian Shepherd, and Sven, a Norwegian Elkhound. I’ve grown up around dogs of every size, from tiny teacups to Great Danes, and have hands-on experience with all life stages from puppy to senior. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with a variety of health conditions, including thyroid disorders, diabetes, heartworm, arthritis, parvovirus, esophageal issues, and gastrointestinal concerns. I also have basic to intermediate training experience and enjoy working on positive reinforcement skills. Because I work for myself, my schedule is flexible and allows me to provide attentive, consistent care. I love going on walks—whether a quick stroll or a 4+ mile adventure—playing fetch, teaching basic tricks, and, of course, giving plenty of belly rubs. *I AM EMPLOYED AS A CHEF- please note that my schedule can be demanding at times and is subject to change. Recently my shifts are 2:30pm/3pm-11pm MTWFSat. I am off on Thursdays and Sundays.

At this time due to some home renovations, I do not provide care at my home. I do provide in-home care for clients. I firmly believe in leaving places as if I was never there. My job is to simply substitute for the duration of your absence. I only stay in public places/designated areas of client’s homes. I actually encourage the use of “nanny cams” or any form of Audio/Visual monitoring. It’s your home and I want you to feel 100% comfortable while I’m there. Please just let me know if you have AV(audio/visual) monitoring prior to booking.

Rachel always takes amazing care of our babies. I highly recommend her to watch over your furry loved ones.
Rachel took great care of our senior pug and administered eye drops and lotion multiple times. She sent plenty of photos throughout the long day to keep us updated on how he was doing. We appreciated her conscientiousness and will definitely use Rachel again.
Excellent communication and on time. My dogs loved Rachel and looking forward to having her watch them again very soon.
We are so appreciative that Rachel was able to accommodate our last minute drop-in request. The photos were a really nice touch - he looks like he had a great time with her!
Rachel is like family. She takes such good care of our furry babies and they love her right back. I highly recommend Rachel to look after your fur kids 🐾❤️
Rachel did a great job with our dog, Palmer! She’s a high energy puppy and can be a lot to handle as a result but Rachel was up for the challenge and handled it very well. She gave her attention and turned the tv on for her so she wouldn’t be lonely while waiting for us to return. She wasn’t fazed and only had positive things to say about our pup. We’d use her again and in fact did rebook her again on our trip!
