Information Rachel S. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know the basics of their routine, personality, and any specific needs. This includes: Feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions Medication or health concerns Behavior quirks (nervous around new people, scared of thunderstorms, etc.) How they are on leash / with other animals Favorite activities or comfort items Crate use, potty routines, and sleep preferences The more I know, the more I can make sure your pet feels safe, secure, and loved!

A typical day

I’m very active and love getting outside! If your dog is with me, they’ll get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and playtime—along with lots of love, belly rubs, and downtime in between. If I’m staying in your home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine and make them feel as safe and cared for as possible. I’m all about calm, loving energy and making animals feel truly at ease.

Experienced Former Vet Tech

Pet care experience

Animals have been my entire world for as long as I can remember. I was raised by two veterinarians, worked as a veterinary technician for 3 years, and have extensive hands-on experience with pet sitting and animal care. I’ve had the joy of living with over 10 dogs and 5 cats throughout my life, and currently live in the city with my beloved pup, Winston, who I consider my child. In addition to my professional background, I’ve been a regular, trusted pet sitter for friends and families for years—house sitting for over 15 households and providing care off the app at least once a month. I’m experienced with all types of pets and personalities, from shy and anxious animals to energetic and playful ones. Here’s what sets me apart: • Raised by veterinarians — animal care is second nature to me • Former vet tech — I can administer medications and understand medical signs (heatstroke, bloat, etc.) • Skilled in dog body language, leash handling, and basic training • Very communicative, trustworthy, and reliable — I treat every animal like my own • Pet CPR & emergency aware — I know the signs of discomfort or distress • Huge heart — animals aren’t just a job to me, they’re my everything If you're looking for someone who will love and care for your pet like their own family, I’m your person.

Rachel was wonderful! She responded quickly, was flexible with timing, and made the whole process easy. Our dog came back happy and relaxed after the walk — we’d definitely recommend her.
