I start by following your instructions closely including feeding schedules, litter box care, medications, favorite toys, and any household preferences. I take time to bond with your cat or dog at their pace, offering gentle patience for shy pets and active play for those who crave engagement. I make sure they get the right balance of companionship, enrichment, and quiet time so they feel secure while you’re away. I also keep your home tidy, bring in mail or packages, and send regular updates so you always know how your pets are doing. My focus is on creating a calm, consistent experience that feels familiar and safe for them.

Rachel was amazing!! She house-sat for me for a week soon after I got a now 15 week old puppy, and she took amazing care of him. He is very high maintenance right now, but she kept up his schedule and entertained and trained him without any issues! She was very professional and communicative. She kept me updated with frequent pictures and updates. While it would be easy for the puppy to take all the attention, she also gave love and attention to my cat and kept me updated on him as well. I would definitely trust her as a house sitter again.

Rachel is super knowledgeable about anxious, reactive dogs, this really helped me have peace of mind while I was away bc my dog can be quite a lot!! She sent pictures, left my place clean, would love to have her again!
