Treat your pet like one of our own
Rachel- I'm in my mid thirties and have worked with animals for a charity for almost 17 years. I'm still working with animals today with Dogs, cats & small animals. I'd very much love to do pet setting full-time but also looking at further training to support other career opportunities. I've owned cats and ferrets for many years and I've worked closely with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chickens, rodents, horses, sheep, goats and other animals with a focus on welfare, behaviour and companionship as well as re-homing objectives. I'm really looking forward to welcoming and caring for your animals and supporting the community! Wayne- I'm in my early thirties and have been pet sitting on and off for around 10 years alongside a day job. I've recently moved to Huntingdon with my partner and we are now able to offer pet setting services together! I love working with animals and I'm passionate about wildlife conservation! During the last decade, I've volunteered as an animal keeper at 4 UK Zoos where I cared for a number of small primates (such as lemurs, tamarins and marmosets), as well as many other exotic (and domestic) species including small carnivores and reptiles. At home I also have plenty of experience caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, guinea pigs, etc. I've unfortunately never been able to own a dog myself as I've worked too much in the past and I couldn't just leave them to roam around whilst out. We're still not ready for a dog full-time but hopefully that time is not too far away! So, as an alternative... we'd love to look after your dogs and other pets while you're away. I have previously been a registered volunteer with the Dogs Trust and other local shelters but I'd rather support the community directly. So if you need someone to give your pets some much needed attention, send us a message!

Benji loved his time with Rachel and Wayne. Benji needs lots of attention and loves to be around people all the time. Rachel and Wayne were able to be flexible around his needs and kept us informed from time to time, which was really reassuring. Benji's looking forward to his next visit!
Wayne and Rachel took fantastic care of Bonnie. I could tell when I picked her up she had been well looked after and I wouldn't think twice about sending Bonnie to them again.
Rachel and Wayne are lovely and just take so much care of our beautiful Dalmatian Edie. Shes a sensitive soul and they have really taken the time to get to know her, give her lots of walks and cuddles. She loves going to their house now which makes us feel great! Thank you 😊

Schedule
We tend to our cats and ferrets each morning and evening, and also spend as much time with them as we can during the day as they love to play and they have a lot of love to give.

We’ve got a safe, loving house with an enclosed garden. We spend lots of time with our animals & this will also be the case with any others that come to stay with us.

We can provide lots of mental & physical stimulation for any pet. As well as walks, we’ve got an enclosed garden & secure house where they can play with their favourite toys, as well as a nice comfy area for napping.
