SAHM with doggy door and sweet pups
I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking since I was 12 years old, so caring for dogs has been a big part of my life for more than 24 years! Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and needs, and it’s something I’ve always genuinely loved. I grew up surrounded by animals and have always believed that dogs are truly part of the family. That’s exactly how we treat our own pups—our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, who are 11 and 9 years old. I also spent time volunteering as a dog walker at Foothills Animal Shelter, which gave me even more experience caring for dogs with different personalities and backgrounds. I’ve always been an animal lover—from the small and furry to the big and not-so-furry, I love them all! ❤️ I’m home most of the day while my two children, ages 6 and 9, are at school, so your pup will have plenty of companionship and attention. We live near several greenbelts and lakes, making it easy to get out for walks and enjoy some fresh air. I’m happy to accommodate your pup’s individual needs, including walks, brushing teeth, administering medications, and maintaining their usual routine as much as possible. We also have a doggy door, and yes—dogs are absolutely welcome on the furniture! 🐾 I typically care for only one family’s dogs at a time, with the occasional one-day overlap. This means when you drop your pup off, you won’t find a house full of dogs from multiple families. I want each dog to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with us. Most importantly, you can feel confident that your pup is getting plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and pictures so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐶❤️

Rachel was great! She was very communicative and kept me updated throughout her visit with the pups. She made sure they got outside, had some time to run around, and were well taken care of. I really appreciated the updates and felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I would definitely book Rachel again! 🐾🐾
Rachel was great at communicating with me before and during my pets’ stay. She sent picture and kept me updated. My dogs were loved, cared for and I didn’t have to worry at all about them.
Rachel is excellent with our dog! She sent us pictures daily when we were on vacation . That was really nice that she went out of her way to do that. Her home is warm and very dog friendly.
We adore Rachel and her family. They always take the best care of our pup. We joke that Rachel’s house is his second home!
We cannot say enough good things about Rachel. Her and her family are so sweet with our Charlie and really treat him like one of their own. Rachel got out early to walk Charlie (which she didn’t have to do) and sent updates at least once a day. We’ve used her services time and time again and will continue to do so!

Schedule
I'm currently working 5 hours max at a gym to teaching fitness classes, I have lots of free time and enjoy being active with the pups we are watching.

I care for them like my own pups, I treat my pups very well and spoil every pup that comes over. I listen to the owner's instructions and so everything to make a pup feel comfortable and at home.

A typical day
I love to take the pups we watch for walks, play fetch in our backyard, and cuddles on our couch. We live right by a dollar store and enjoy spoiling those pups that love toys to a new one during their stay.
