Pet care experience
Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of loving and taking care of many different animals. My childhood pets included 2 dogs (Shiba Inu mix and Jack Russell Terrier), a hamster, a guinea pig, and parakeets. Currently, my pet family consists 2 cats named Archer and Tortellini. I have former experience with pet/home-sitting, dog walking, and cat sitting back when I lived in San Diego. I have taken care of sick animals, puppies, large dogs, and nervous cats. Back in September of 2023, my boyfriend and I happily fostered 4 kittens. These kittens were sick with an upper-respiratory & eye infection, which required us to administer multiple different types of medication on a regular basis. All 4 kittens were successfully adopted as pairs by two different adopters!

As I have 2 cats of my own, I will not be able to provide service at my home. However, in my clients' homes, I will ensure that all animals are properly fed at their scheduled/desired times, play and/or walk with extensively so that the animals can let out their energy and relax throughout the day and/or evening, as well as provide love and attention so that they are reassured they are safe and taken care of while their paw-rents are away.

I like to make sure I know of any allergies, medications/supplements the animals may be taking. I am more than happy to administer medication and prep special meals (e.g. dietary restrictions).
A typical day
With dogs, I like to mentally and physically engage with them by going on walks and play with their favorites toys. With cats, I like to talk to them and reach for their favorite toys to play with or treats in case they are hiding and feeling timid.

I am currently pursuing an online degree and going through a career transition. In the meantime, I am looking for part-time work with a flexible schedule.
