Safety, trust & environment
As I have 2 cats of my own, I will not be able to provide service at my home. However, in my clients' homes, I will ensure that all animals are properly fed at their scheduled/desired times, play and/or walk with extensively so that the animals can let out their energy and relax throughout the day and/or evening, as well as provide love and attention so that they are reassured they are safe and taken care of while their paw-rents are away.
Information Rachel P. would like to know about your pet
I like to make sure I know of any allergies, medications/supplements the animals may be taking. I am more than happy to administer medication and prep special meals (e.g. dietary restrictions).
A typical day
With dogs, I like to mentally and physically engage with them by going on walks and play with their favorites toys. With cats, I like to talk to them and reach for their favorite toys to play with or treats in case they are hiding and feeling timid.

Pet care experience
Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of loving and taking care of many different animals. My childhood pets included 2 dogs (Shiba Inu/West Highland White Terrier mix and Jack Russell Terrier), a hamster, guinea pig, and parakeets. Now my pet family consists of 2 cats named Archer and Tortellini. I have former experience with pet/home-sitting, dog walking, and cat-sitting with friends and family. I have taken care of sick animals, puppies, large dogs, and nervous/anxious cats. Back in September of 2023, my boyfriend and I happily fostered 4 kittens. These kittens were sick with an upper-respiratory & eye infection, which required us to administer multiple different types of medication on a regular basis. All 4 kittens were successfully adopted as pairs by two different adopters!
Reviews

Rachel is our go to cat sitter every time we need somebody. She’s consistently reliable and sends the cutest updates with photos. Our cat loves her and we know she’s in good hands with Rachel every time we are out of town.

Rachel was fantastic. I was on an extended overseas trip, and she provided daily updates and photos of Rex. Her comms are on point, and incredibly easy to work with. Thanks!

This is the second time Rachel has sat on our cat while traveling. She is amazing - communicative, trustworthy, caring and competent. She writes detailed reports about her visits and sends lots of photos. I recommend her without hesitation.

Great comms. Followed care instructions. Will use again. Thanks!
