While growing up in my childhood home for 18 years, I had and cared for a variety of pets such as cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters! Currently, I am a proud dog mom to my beautiful husky for the past 6 years. She is a very high maintenance dog so I have become proficient at all things dog care! I have come exceptional at feeding, grooming, and playing. As the weather permits, she gets an abundance of outdoor activity such as walking around our favorite parks, joining me on my morning run, hiking South Mountain and all around AZ, and socializing all the nearby dog parks! Concurrently, by trade, I am a pediatric speech language pathologist. I worked in a public elementary school and have since transitioned to home based services. As a speech therapist working with young children (especially in the schools), I possess highly transferrable skills to pet care such as patience, clear communication, love, responsibility, and playfulness! Being an SLP dog mom, I enjoyed supporting my dog’s communication skills by teaching her to communicate using a single hit speech generating button.

I have a walled back yard with the perfect ratio of grass to shaded patio with a doggy door. There are multiple ring cameras in the front and back yard to monitor all outdoor activity to ensure no funny business! We have a large crate (if needed) and more dog beds than human. My husband and I love to travel therefore we understand the importance of feeling your dog is safe, loved, and well taken care of. I recognize the importance of consistent communication and picture updates!

If I didn’t live in Ohio, I would be fighting you for Rachel‘s time! She is one of the most aware, respectful, And kind people I know. I have trust her with both the care of my pup and my kids, countless times without hesitation. And would do so again without question.
Kind, gentle, responsible, and vigilant, Rachel is exactly the kind of person you want caring for your furry (or hairy, or neither) family members. She conveys the same loving energy she brings to her own dog to every animal I've ever seen her interact with. I trust her with the care of my child (or skin dog, if you prefer) and would absolutely trust her to care for any animal as if they were her own. I strongly, without hesitation or caveat, recommend that you ask her to care for your pets!
Rachel has watched my corgi, Orion, numerous times over the past 5 years. She is a caring, responsible, and kind person. I know I can trust her to take care of him while I’m gone, which allows me to fully enjoy my trip without guilt or worry. I highly recommend her!

I have known Rachel for many years. Such a sweet and caring women . She has been a pet parent for 6 years to a female husky for 6 years . Aurora her dog she has always had Aurora best interest in mind . She is responsive for her daily care and needs . She makes sure Aurora gets her daily walks and exercise. Schedule
My job consists of working with families in their homes therefore I have a very flexible schedule. I am working on building up my home health clientele therefore I have plenty of time to love on your pup! I made the switch to home health for this exact reason- to have more flexibility between work and home so I can do more of the things I love doing…taking care of furry friends!
