I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough! She has cared for my dogs overnight for extended periods of time on multiple occasions, and I trust her completely. My dogs are not easy—they’re both rescue dogs with traumatic pasts, they’re very needy, and one can even come across as aggressive to people who don’t know him. Rachel took the time to earn their trust, and they absolutely adore her. She is incredibly attentive and conscientious. She never misses a medication, making sure multiple medications are administered on time every single day. While we’re away, she regularly sends photos of the dogs relaxing, cuddling with her, and clearly feeling safe and loved. Those updates give us tremendous peace of mind. Rachel also treats our home with the utmost respect. In fact, I often come home to a house that’s cleaner than when I left! She has even cared for our chickens with the same level of dedication and attention. Rachel has a genuine love for animals, and they seem to instinctively love her right back. She is reliable, compassionate, responsible, and truly goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets as if they were her own, I wholeheartedly recommend Rachel. Any pet owner would be lucky to have her caring for their beloved animals.

Rachel is so amazing with dogs and cats! She has pet sit for me several times (until she moved states :() and has done so great with my rowdy bunch of dogs and kitty. My pups range from naughty to shy scaredy cats, and they all love her! I got to know Rachel when she worked as an Animal Care Technician at a shelter that I was the director of. She was always extremely kind and compassionate with the pets, and has a fantastic work ethic. Rachel always made sure to give lots of love to each and every dog and cat, while also ensuring that things were tidy and clean. I highly recommend Rachel as a pet sitter for dogs and cats - if she still lived near me she would be my go to!
