Safety, trust & environment
To me, treating a dog like my own means their safety comes first; they’re always securely leashed on walks, and have a calm, quiet environment at home. I always follow any specific instructions you provide, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing.

Information Rachel P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your pet’s routine, potty training, chewing or barking habits, and any special needs ahead of time so I can provide comfortable, consistent care. Please note: I’m best suited for dogs that are generally quiet and don’t bark much, as I like to keep things calm and quiet :) My place is quite small (~400 sq ft), so it’s not ideal for big and high-energy dogs. I can only accept dogs that are comfortable being left home alone and do not bark, whine, or cry when left by themselves.
A typical day
Fun usually means walks, playtime, sniff breaks, and quality one-on-one time. I adjust everything based on your dog’s personality and energy level, so they feel happy and relaxed!

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Rachel - a lifelong dog lover 🐾 I grew up with dogs and have 4+ years of dedicated care experience, including short and long-term boarding, daycare, and dog walking. I do not have any pets and host only one doggie at a time. However, if your dog likes to socialize, they can have supervised playdates with my landlord's 5 year old toy poodle! I truly enjoy having a dog around - life is brighter with one! I’d love to connect and see if your dog and I would be a great fit! 🐶 If you’re new to Rover, you can use my promo code RACHEP46477 to get $20 off your first booking 😊
Reviews

Rachel was super accommodating of Jasmyn’s needs and provided lots of updates. I could tell Jasmyn was well cared for and I highly recommend Rachel’s service.

Rachel was great! Very caring and attentive. Sent updates and pictures frequently. Highly recommended

Rachel went above and beyond — regular photos, quick responses, and great communication. I was so happy that Sena was cared for the whole time. Sena felt loved and comfortable with Rachel. Couldn’t ask for more from a sitter!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Rachel took such amazing care of our senior dog and truly brought back his puppy-like energy—it was incredible to see the transformation. Her patience, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals really stood out. While we were away, she kept us constantly updated, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear from every update that our dog was not just well cared for, but genuinely happy. We came home to a joyful, relaxed pup, and we’re so grateful. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.
