I am a certified professional animal trainer and I have worked at accredited zoos and aquariums across the country as an animal keeper and behaviorist. I have 15 years of experience caring for exotic and domestic animals, and I take great pride in my skills, compassion, and attention to detail. I have a deep love and affection for all animals and not only do I provide expert care to every critter in my care, but go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and happy with my work as well! I am skilled in animal training, senior animal care, giving medications including injections, and basic first aid. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets!

Rachel is the best. She’s watched my pup 3 times now and every time, I’ve felt confident and happy while away knowing that my dog is with someone who likes her and treats her well. Rachel is great at communication and goes above and beyond (like watering plants I never asked her to water but which did need it). And most of all, it’s apparent to me when my pup has been stressed and when she hasn’t, and with Rachel, she isn’t. Priceless.

Rachel has been one of the best sitters we've ever had through Rover. The level of communication was skilled, consistent, and thoughtful throughout our time away. She went above and beyond in taking care of our pup: from daily walks in snow/colder weather, to picking up dog poop in the backyard, to cuddle and play time, it was quite evident that she not only took intentional care of our pup, but our home as well. She will be our go-to sitter whenever available!
Rachel was amazing! My partner and I went out of town for six days, and Rachel cared for our animals for four of those days. This was my first time using Rover, and I was a bit nervous, but Rachel completely put my mind at ease. I was extremely busy and in an area with poor reception, but every time I had a chance to check in, I was greeted with wonderful updates and photos. She went above and beyond with her care — even coming back after the scheduled time because she knew my father wouldn’t be able to take over yet, and she didn’t want my dogs to spend that long in their kennel without a break! I’ve already told my family about this great experience, and we’ll definitely be contacting Rachel for our future trips. I could tell my animals were in fantastic hands - they weren’t even as excited to see us when we got home as they usually are lol! She also left our house immaculate.
