Your Pup’s Bestie 🐶🧡

Hi! I’m Rachel! I’ve been a dog person my entire life and have been watching dogs since I was 11. I have two dogs of my own, Wesley and Wally, and dogs truly are my best friends. 🥹🐾 I know how important it is to find someone you completely trust with your pup, so I’ll treat yours just like my own, with lots of love, patience, attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, including giving medications, following specific routines, and providing extra support when needed. I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give your pup plenty of attention. Whether they’re energetic and ready to play or prefer a cozy day on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐶🧡 I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and little pup reports so you can relax knowing your baby is happy and well cared for. I’d love to meet your pup and become their new bestie! 🐾

Rachel is the best dog sitter my husband and I have ever come across. She’s reliable and a great communicator. Our Teddy is not only cared for by Rachel.. he is LOVED. We are thankful for peace of mind. ❤️

An Absolute Lifesaver for Senior and Special Needs Pups! Rachel is a true animal lover who treats your pets like her own family. She has taken care of two of my senior dogs, including my pug mix, Frank, who had complex health issues. Frank was completely blind and diabetic, requiring a strict regimen of special food, regular medications, and daily insulin injections.Rachel handled his intensive medical care with total confidence and ease. She is incredibly patient, loving, and completely unflappable—she never panics when an issue arises. What I appreciate most is her fantastic communication; she always kept me updated and reached out immediately if she had any concerns about my buddies. I cannot recommend Rachel enough, especially for anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver for senior or medical-needs pets!

Schedule

I work remotely, which means I’m home with my dogs pretty much all day and am always attentive to their needs. Dogs are already a big part of my everyday routine, so caring for another pup fits right in! I love having a dog around to keep me company while I work, and I’m able to give them plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a spacious, fully fenced-in yard where the pups can safely run around and get some energy out, plus my two friendly dogs, Wesley and Wally, who love having a friend around! I’m also happy to accommodate whatever makes your pup feel most comfortable. If they’re crate trained and prefer their crate, we can absolutely do that. We even have a spare bedroom that can be their own little space if they’d rather have some quiet time away from the other dogs. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home here.

Pets

A typical day

We’ll have plenty of fun with playtime, walks, cuddles, and cozy time indoors! Meals are typically at 6 AM and 4 PM, but I’m happy to tailor feeding times to your dog’s routine.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, routines, or behaviors that I can account for! I’m happy to accommodate things like medications, feeding schedules, anxiety, separation issues, crate training, reactivity, or anything else that helps me understand your pup better. The more I know about your dog ahead of time, the better I can make them feel comfortable and cared for while they’re with me. Don’t ever worry about something being “too much” or “too specific”—I want to know all the little things that make your pup unique! Please also provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations before your dog’s stay. I also require a meet-and-greet prior to stay.
