A typical day with me starts with checking in on your pet early in the morning. If I’m doing an overnight stay, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, give them breakfast, and get ready for a fun day ahead. Whether it’s a brisk walk, playtime in the yard, or snuggle time on the couch, I make sure to adjust the activities to your pet’s personality and needs. If your pet has any special instructions—like specific feeding times, medications, or preferred activities—I’ll follow those closely to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll also send you updates throughout the day, so you can feel confident that your pet is getting the care they deserve. Whether it's a morning walk or an evening cuddle session, I’ll make sure your pet feels loved and safe all day long. By the end of the day, I’ll check in again before heading home or before my overnight stay, making sure everything is clean, organized, and your pet is comfortable for the night. I want the animals to be happy. If the pet has high energy levels, we’ll play endless games to both release this energy, and stimulate their brains. Between exploring the nearby parks and playing games, your pet will be ready for nap by the end of the visit!

Hi there! I’m Rachel, and I’ve had the pleasure of being surrounded by animals my entire life. I currently share my home with a playful dog and a sweet cat, so I know how important it is to provide the right kind of care for each pet. In addition to my experience as a lifelong pet owner, I’ve also worked at Camp Bow Wow, a well-known dog daycare. This job allowed me to care for and interact with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with high-energy pups, senior dogs, and everything in between. I also have extensive experience with cats, ensuring they get the playtime, attention, and comfort they need while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or just keeping them company, I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel like part of the family.

This is the third time we have booked with Rachel and everything went really well and my pets were happy
Rachel was wonderful!!! She sent me a picture of our black and white older cat (who is very shy) right next to her on the couch!!! All of our animals seemed very well taken care of and really liked Rachel!! I will definitely hire her again!!

Rachel went above and beyond my expectations for a first time drop in visit with Dakota! This was my first time using an app like Rover and although I was hesitant at first, Rachel made sure that Dakota was safe, happy, and loved while I was away. Dakota usually hides her toys from strangers, so when we found out that she showed them ALL to Rachel on day one, then we knew immediately she loved Rachel!! Rachel even left a little holiday gift bag with a toy and a thank you note, along with leaving my house cleaner than I left it. Rachel was professional with response times, playful with my pup, and respectful to my home. She did a great job and I will definitely request her again if I need another visit or walk.
