I have taken care of dogs and cats of all breeds and ages. The high quality of care that I provide is reflected in my pricing. I send up to 10 videos and picture updates of your pet throughout the day (during house stays) and make myself readily available when any questions or concerns arise, if any. I respond in a timely manner to texts and calls. As a pet parent and being raised in a pet owning household, I have learned how to provide responsible, thoughtful, and courteous care for animals. I have a skill at training dogs and cats to sit, do tricks, and learn to have good manners. My approach to pet-sitting and dog walking is to care for these pets as if they were my own. My goal is to provide exceptional service to fellow pet parents and their pets.

I have lived with a house-cat and he knew to stay inside and stop at the door but we were careful to always know where he was in the house so not to let him out. When house-sitting in someone else's home I am careful to know where all the points of entry are, any potential dangers, be respectful of the space and the intrusion of privacy.

Rachel was an amazing sitter! She was attentive, great at communicating and took such good care of our fur baby Charlie! This was our first time having a Rover sitter and we were very skeptical at first, but Rachel made us feel super comfortable and made sure to update us throughout our trip. Our boy Charlie had a blast playing with her. We have already re-booked Rachel for our next upcoming trip! 10/10 service and would 100% recommend!
Amazing 2 weeks house, dog and cat sitting by Rachel. Incredibly communicative, sends LOTS of photos, and really understands how important her job is to care our babies and home. Exceptional care of everything and handled any and all unexpected circumstances with grace and grit. Would 100% recommend and use again!
Rachel was fantastic. She started communicating before even arriving which is wonderful because it’s clear she cares. While we were gone she sent frequent photos and updates. Rachel was very thoughtful when taking our dog for walks (cognizant of the neighborhood dogs and owners). Our babies were well cared for and we are so thankful.
This was our second time working with Rachel, and she once again went above and beyond. She’s thoughtful, reliable, and truly attentive to our cats’ needs. We always feel completely at ease knowing they’re in such great hands. Thank you! 💖
Rachel was great with my chihuahua, Tony! She was able to help out with a short-notice request and promptly scheduled a meet-and-greet beforehand. She showed up right on time and kept me posted with fast replies and frequent updates while dogsitting. She was very gentle and attentive with him!
Rachel was wonderful with our energetic little dog. She left the house cleaner than we left it, gave her lots of activity and love, and was an excellent communicator! I felt so safe having her with Little Bear!

Schedule
Currently, I am a part-time graduate student at San Jose State University. I am doing independent study so I have a very flexible schedule and can take on more than one client at a time.
