I have been with dogs and cats, since I could first pet one, and have loved and adored all animals! I have two older brothers and even before I was born, there were dogs around. I was born when my oldest brother had picked out the family dog, Scheena, a Dalmatian. She was a wonderful family dog and we created so many good memories with her. After Scheena, we then went on to finding Bella, an Italian Greyhound and then about 8 years later, we adopted and rescued Cozie, another Italian Greyhound, for Bella to have another dog around and to just bring more into the family for us humans. Bella was the love of my life, and then when Cozie joined, they both were the loves of my life, as they were more than just pets to me. With much exposure to growing up with dogs, I've taken care of them, walked them, fed them, and given them all the other needs they needed. Cozie had troubles with her bladder and going outside to the bathroom, so I would help her by making sure she had a consistent bathroom schedule as much as I could, gave her her pills she needed twice a day, cleaning up her accidents if needed. When Bella got to be about 12 or 13 years old, her health started to decline, although she was still spunky and sassy as ever, but I would help her with the diapers she had to wear sometimes, help giver her her medicine or prepare her food that she needed. I of course LOVED walking the two of them, because they loved getting outside and it made me happy to get them out of the house, moving and catching all the new smells and sights. Although I've cared for small dogs, medium - big sized dogs do not intimidate me. I have other family and friends with dogs that are basically bigger than me and I always enjoy being around them! I am a full time student, currently on break right now so I do have much more of an open schedule, but my schedule is usually open during the school semesters as well and I will accommodate to my best ability!
