I've watched both dogs and cats for family friends since I was a teenager and always found it very fulfilling. Many of those connections no longer require help for various reasons and it's left a gap in my life.

Rachel was great with our two dogs on a recent trip. She was highly communicative with daily photo updates. I feel that our dogs felt right at home with her!
Rachel took great care of our 15 year old terrier mix Cookie. She sent photos and messages to us everyday we were away. She followed all our directions and I felt relaxed and at ease knowing Cookie was happy. How do I know? Rachel reported that Cookie didn’t want her to stop rubbing her belly. Cookie does not let most people rub her belly!! That said it all!
My dog spent a week with Rachel while I was out of the country. He is happy and seemed to really like her! Would definitely ask Rachel to dog sit for us again in the future!
Rachel is calm, flexible and honest. Jazz spent a good time with Rachel who sent us daily photos. We also revised our planned return date and Rachel quickly contacted Rover to make sure we do not get charged for that extra night. Thanks for your good care, we will definitely bring you Jazz soon.
I can't say enough good things about Rachel! Leaving my fur baby, Lucy, was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but Rachel made it so much easier. She sent daily updates and pictures, so I could see Lucy’s sweet face and know she was in good hands. Rachel was incredibly attentive and caring, and it's clear she loves animals just as much as I do. When I picked Lucy up, she was beaming with joy and looked like she'd been well taken care of. I was so impressed with how Rachel had followed her routine and given her all the snuggles and love she needed. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Rachel, for making my trip so much less stressful and for being an amazing caregiver to my little girl!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live on the ground floor and pets will kept from venturing upstairs or into the laundry room, but my bedroom door will be left open so I can be easily reached for going outside. In a client's home, I will ask what rooms pets are or are not allowed in and act accordingly.
