Experienced Friendly Animal Lovers
We have both taken care of dogs of every kind since we were very young, from our own dogs to friends and family’s dogs. This has been across all age ranges, as well as multiple breeds, personalities and some minor special needs. We also have great experience with a multitude of other animals and pets, including but not limited to cats, rodents and lizards. We are huge animal lovers that will treat any animal/pet as a part of our family. Nós falamos português também. Nosotros hablamos español también. 😊 We generally have an open schedule on the evenings and weekends, and like to do activities that we can include our animals in (as appropriate). We like to take Winnie and Mendo on daily walks, as well as get them out hiking, in the park, and spending time with other people and dogs as able. Keeping our pets happy and safe is our number one priority! We keep our home clean and supervise consistently to be sure of this. We also feel it’s important that they get the stimulation and exercise they need (and are comfortable with). Winnie has dealt with anxiety issues over the years, so we are familiar and have a lot of experience with dogs with different personalities that need more attention.

Rachel and Mari always go above and beyond! We’ve booked with them for short and long stays and everytime my pup is treated like one of their own. Truly, on this most recent stay, my pup was having a bout of an upset tummy and they made her chicken and rice for a bland food diet as recommended by our vet to get her feeling better. Truly, they are the best! Don’t hesitate to book with them!!

Schedule
My wife and I have varied schedules, so the pups spend very limited time alone (typically about 4 hours Wednesday through Friday, and about 5 on Tuesdays). On Saturday through Monday, we are home with them full time. We love to give extra love and attention to our (and your) pups, including them in activities and making sure they are well cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a shared fenced yard and two friendly fur babies to keep your pup company. We typically leave our dogs out (though isolated to a particular area) during the times we leave the house. We purposefully make sure this is a safe space for them. We can also easily crate your pup if that is what they are used to and will be safest with doing.
Pets
A typical day
We are happy to do whatever you are comfortable with and happy to have your dog or cat participate in! We love to take Winnie and Mendo for daily walks, and are happy to include your pet in this. We also love to play with Bear daily, usually playing fetch with his hair tie or playing with his feather teaser. We are happy to play with your cat with their favorite toy as they are comfortable with when doing drop ins!
