I’m currently in night school from 5–10:30 PM and typically wake up around 9 AM, which means my days are wide open for pet care. I already go on daily walks and hike weekly, so fitting your pet into my routine feels completely natural. I keep a consistent daily rhythm while staying flexible around your pet’s needs.

I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a walkable neighborhood with lots of nearby parks, perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. I have plenty of room for a crate if needed, and I can create a separate, comfortable space for your pet if they need some quiet or alone time.

If your pet will be staying overnight at my place, please note that I have two cats and one small dog. I also live in an apartment without an elevator, so we do take the stairs — just something to keep in mind for older or mobility-limited pets. Since I’m in an apartment, a pet that tends to bark excessively when left alone may not be the best fit for my space. If your pup has a strong prey drive or doesn’t get along well with other dogs, we may not be the right match either.
A typical day
I love taking walks to my local parks or hopping in the car to visit a nearby dog park. If your pup enjoys chasing a ball, there are plenty of open spaces where we can play fetch and run around for hours.

I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and I can’t imagine it any other way. Right now, I have two sweet senior cats and one young pup who keep me company. Because of them, I know the importance of patience, love, and consistency when it comes to caring for pets. I enjoy walking, hiking, and training dogs, and I have just as much love for cats. I live in a wonderful neighborhood with nearby parks, dog parks, and beautiful streets—perfect for fun, safe walks and happy pets.

She was great with my cats! I appreciated the updates photos of them was well. I love that she was also available over the holidays!
Rachel was so great with our senior dog Riley! She gave him eye drops and dealt with his picky eating habits. She was caring and thoughtful to make sure he got the proper exercise /rest depending on how he felt. He had a blast with her!
Rachel has watched my cat for me a few times! She does a great job, your pets are in great hands with her. She loves animals and knows how to take care of them with lots of care and attention.
