If I am visiting to take care of you babies- I am more than equipped to spend hours hanging out with them and playing/going out on walks. I am particularly good with shy animals and know when to give them space. I also have extensive knowledge on giving medications and animals that need more intensive care.

Hello! My name is Rachel and I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old. I recently moved to Virgina with my partner Bryan, dog, and 4 cats. My love for animals encouraged me to become a Veterinary Technician, and I graduated in 2015 with an associates degree in Animal science. I worked 2 years in a cat clinic, 2 and a half years at the Arizona Humane Society and 3 years in emergency medicine where I have learned all kinds of crazy and fun things about animals and how to help them in their time of need. I am currently taking a break from working in a clinic and now immersed in the world of pet insurance. I currently work from home and have flexible hours. I am experienced in boarding, fostering, as well as taking daily trips to clients homes to take care of furry babies!

Rachel was wonderful sitting for our 2 GSP's while we took a short weekend trip! She was very responsive both during the booking process and while we were away. Rachel is very knowledgeable about caring for dogs which really adds to the comfort level in leaving them. My younger dog is ball obsessed and she kept him entertained so he was happy! My house was neat and tidy when we returned. I would not hesitate to book with Rachel again and hopefully will be able to do so in the near future!
Rachel took great care of my boy. Her visit texts and photos were much appreciated.
