I'm a college professor and writer, who works mainly from home. I love all dogs and currently have a lab/terrier mix, who is socialized to other dogs and loves dog company. I want your dog to feel at home, so I prioritize safety and comfort, which is why I have only one pup client at a time. Your dog will have plenty of love and attention when they join our pack. We have a big fenced in yard and take daily walks downtown.

Rachel is the best!!!! I made a big mistake while booking and I didn’t realize it in time. However, she was open to discussing it promptly and she solved it as a hero! Chopper was totally safe and happy with her. Back at home he was in a perfect mood, like we'd never spent two nights away from each other. Which says a lot about how well he was treated. We definitely want to book her every single time we need it!

Schedule
During the semesters my schedule is flexible, so I'm home on Tuesdays & Thursdays and all afternoons, evenings, and most weekends. I work from home in the summer.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard on a lot and a half, located close to downtown. The space between the pickets in the fence is 3.5 inches. I currently have a dog, who enjoys the company of our doggie guests.
Pets
A typical day
Dolly loves to play soccer in our fenced-back yard. I live close to down town, so it's a quick 1.5 mile walk that is easy for us. We are also close to the trail system and take longer 3-4 miles in good weather. In warmer weather, we hang out on the porch, which is dog proofed and gated.
