Hi there! My name is Rachel. I grew up with a minimum of 5 rescue dogs and cats in my childhood home at all times. I’ve fostered kittens, trained puppies, and taken care of animals in their last days. Being a pet owner most of my life, I know how I’d want my pets to be treated and know how scary it can be leaving your animals with someone you don’t know. What this also means is that I will be loving on your pets, taking them on long fulfilling walks, and making sure to fit in playtime everyday as if they were my own! You’ll find my picture under “animal lover” in the dictionary. So much so I gave up eating them over 11 years ago. 😊 I am new to rover but not to pet sitting! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, want to discuss rates, etc! I am free most holidays as my partner works for the airline industry and is gone most holidays! Thanks!

I have two spare bedrooms and live on an acre in the woods. We have great nature walking trails nearby, as well as a duck pond is your pup is duck curious but not duck dangerous!

Exceptional dog-sitting services! It is no exaggeration to say that Rachel is, without a doubt, the finest pet caregiver we have ever entrusted with our beloved girls. She meticulously followed their daily routine, from precise feeding schedules to specific walking times, ensuring their comfort and minimizing any disruption to their usual rhythm. This consistency is incredibly important for them, and it truly gave us peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. Beyond just adhering to their schedule, she went above and beyond to ensure both our dogs received ample physical activity and joyful interaction. They were home happy, well-exercised, and clearly cherished during their time with her. Rachel’s dedication truly shone through, making their stay a positive experience for them, and a worry-free one for us. We are so thankful for her outstanding care and for treating our dogs as if they were her own. We look forward to entrusting them to her wonderful care again in the future.
Rachel is a wonderful human and an incredible pet sitter! She took care of my two puppies and adult cat for a week while I was on vacation and I swear the dogs were better behaved when I got back. She has an overt love for all animals and I would trust her to take care of any/all pets!
