My name is Rachel. I have 2 dogs of my own, MuShu is my Shih Tzu and Ripley is my Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog. I take care of my sister in laws Chihuahua, Evie, as well. They are my babies and my family. I have owned and cares for pets for about 15 years. I have cared for animals of all ages and sizes, and I’m not shy of the bigger, tougher buddies. They make for excellent cuddle buddies. We have a huge fenced in backyard they love to play in. We love to go to parks and play, as well as go for walks with the kids. We have many dog toys and chew toys for them to entertain themselves with. My animals are free to the house as humans are. They are welcome to our couches and beds, preferred their feet aren’t muddy. My babies have a perpetual water bowl/jug. The containers are cleaned once a week to eliminate bacteria and grime buildup in the bowls. I feed my dogs fresh food, and they are given fresh water daily.

Always does so good with my dog! I call it his own little vacation because he is so happy and worn out by the end which always makes me feel better having to leave him. She is great at sending updates with pictures so I know how he is doing as well!

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom and Master’s student. I am always home, and my pets are my constant company. Without them, I would be extremely lonely.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard with cement blocks underneath the gate to prevent diggers from escaping. We have a gate that blocks off the front door, so the pups do not run out as someone comes in. We keep up on our yard, and we have identified all the plants and shrubs in our backyard, removing anything toxic to animals and humans.
Pets
A typical day
We go for walks to the park. Once we get there, we play with the dogs and kids. We also play in the backyard on a daily basis to encourage activity and energy release.
