On the fly care

I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that.

Rachel was absolutely amazing for my last minute booking. I appreciate her taking such great care of my pupper, and I would recommend her to anyone!

Schedule

I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead.

Safety, trust & environment

I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. Allowing them to be where they feel the most comfortable.

Pets

A typical day

I enjoy spending time with the dogs, playing with them, snuggling them and taking them on walks to get out energy. On walks we can explore new smells and nature. At home we are a more relaxed household. Great for dogs who like to chill in other people's company. However, I do have some bones and toys they can play with. I want them to enjoy our time together and be excited to see me.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Rachel can host up to 1 pet per night
MUST BE ON FLEA, TICK, HEARTWORM & UP TO DATE ON SHOTS Additionally, their behavior is important to know, I do have a dog at home as well. The dog must be comfortable with an additional dog. How the dog is alone if for boarding, I will have to go out sometimes. If the dog barks a lot, what will be provided to help prevent that? Where do you keep your dog when you are gone? Does your dog chew or get into anything? Is your dog crate trained? When does your dog eat and how much? Does your dog do good on walks? What is your dogs exercise level? I am in an apartment so high energy can sometimes not be the best fit. If boarding, where does your dog normally sleep? Do they need to be taken out in the middle of the night? Please provide: Any food, treats, favorite toys or bones, a cage if the dog is usually in one (when boarding), a leash, collar/harness for walking, and any additional information. I want the dogs to feel comfortable like they are at their own home. Dogs that listen or have some basic training are preferred, if your dog often gets out of their harness or collar that will not be a good fit since I do not have a backyard. For House Sitting: Any information to help me succeed making your animal comfortable in your home and to make their life as normal as possible.
