Availability

I currently only do freelance art and don't have a full time job, so I'm able to pick up any available walking jobs throughout the day! The only caveat is that I still work my own dog throughout the day as well so he gets his own love, attention, and exercise. I update my calendar regularly!

Safety, trust & environment

My darling Bernese boy is with me 24/7. Along with early world socialization, he is trained only with positive reinforcement and I will treat every other friend/family/neighbor/client's with the same love and care as he gets.

Information Rachel M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or any specific details about them that I need to know! Are they friendly with people? Are they friendly with other dogs? Do they chase squirrels or cats? Do I have to go an alternative route to avoid behavioral triggers? I want them to be as comfortable and happy as they can be so I don't accidentally stress them out.

A typical day

With enough time, I can happily stimulate your pup's brain with love and affection, lots of playtime if need be, perhaps some simple training work thrown in, and a whole bunch of time to walk around the neighborhood and get some good peemail sniffs in! If they love to run, I'd also be happy to jaunt with them!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Rachel and I've been taking care of animals since I was young. I have experience from rabbits, an iguana, a love bird, and fish, to cats and dogs. I also have experience from kittens and puppies to full adults. I currently own an 8 month old Bernese Mountain Dog and I've been self-training him with positive reinforcement for personal service work since he was 8 weeks old. So training on the side is something a little extra that I can work with!

Great with my puppy and was helpful by sticking with the training guidance I asked her to follow. Thank you Rachel!
